The food here is AMAZING! Friendly service and a very relaxed atmosphere. Don't let the cover fool you. This Taqueria is excellent!

Arrived with the family. First noticeable thing is that the place is somewhat dirty. The service was 3/10. Even though they came often to check on us, when we initially got there, they kept basically forcing us to buy a drink for our 2 year old. He doesn’t drink much so we usually don’t buy him a drink to begin with. After we told the first server no, they sent someone else as if the first one didn’t understand. The food was 3/10 as well. The meat was well cooked but lacked seasoning. Taco meat should not lack flavor. One other thing to point out, the prices on the menu are not accurate at all. I really only noticed the drink prices. The aguas frescas on the menu showed a cost of $1.99. When I paid the bill, each drink cost $3.99. It made sense then why they were wanted me to buy a drink for a baby. Even the kids drink for my 4 year old was $3.99.

I have driven past this place for YEARS. Today, I finally joined a friend (and regular patron) here for lunch. BY FAR the best Mexican restaurant in Greenville. Cool, friendly atmosphere and the food, service and people are TOP NOTCH!! I had a "Fajita Quesadilla" with pork, a side of beans and added a small order of guacamole with chips. Plenty of food (ate every last bite and I'm stuffed!)! I look forward to more great food and dining experiences here!

Don't be fooled by the weird plastic looking pinwheels they serve you instead of chips in the beginning. The food was amazing. Homemade shells so good we will drive down from Asheville to eat there again not high on ambience but clean enjoy.
