I was so bummed to find out that one of my favorite restaurants is closing! This place has the best food and best service! I was happy to hear that a few of my friends from this location will be joining the staff at the location in Taylors, but I will most definitely miss the rest. This location (as well as the Taylors location) have always far exceeded my expectations! Best of luck to our Los Mayas 2 family, and God bless!

The worst Mexican food I have ever had in my life. There was no flavor or presentation. The chicken beast was about a 1/4 inch thick and the onions weren't sauteed at all. We ordered a chimichanga pollo fundido.

Jasmine always takes great care of me. The food is always great- hot, fresh and very tasty! Jasmine makes the best Texas frozen Margarita! Prices are very reasonable and genorous portions.

Went in there to give this restaurant a second try and still very disappointed. The food is VERY salty, especially the steak and shrimp. On my first visit I did advise the manager up front about this but apparently not much was done as this second time the food was still very salty. Drinks are awesome, but the food definitely needs improvement!
Good food, good service. Doesn't quite have the atmosphere of some of the other Mexican restaurants but makes up for it with value. Do wish they would have the mexican corn that's on their menu though. Have ordered it 3 times to be told they don't have it. Maybe need to remove it if it isn't going to be available.

I hate leaving a bad review, and it feels odd given this restaurant’s overwhelmingly positive reviews, but I want the restaurant to be aware of our experience since the positive reviews are why we visited in the first place. However, after our one experience I doubt we’ll go back. The food itself was good and the restaurant itself seemed to have a nice atmosphere. Service was fine until we got our food. After that, service was seriously nonexistent; our server completely ignored us. We had to walk up to the bar to get someone else to ring up another beer, walk up to the bar again to request the check, and walk up there again to pay. The server then brought the check to the table....but without my card. I walked up to him and told him he didn’t bring me my card. I went back to the table. After waiting another 10 minutes or so I went to the bar again, where our server was rolling silverware, and again asked for my card. He then laughed, pulled my card from HIS POCKET, and kept laughing. I did not find it funny. I don’t want to name names, but I hope this server gives more attention to his tables in the future, and because of him i doubt we’ll be back. There are other good Mexican restaurants in the area with better service and equal or better food.
