Picked Mac's at random since we are not familiar with the area. We knew it was going to be good when several people passing us by on the sidewalk told us how good the food was. The place is huge but has a very intimate feel to it. I can only imagine what the crowds will be like during football season!
Our server was friendly, efficient, but not pushy. He humored me and my little quirks with the food without belittling me. The food was hot and we did not have to flag him down for anything.
I ordered the Crispy Cornmeal Shrimp and my son ordered the Smokehouse dip. The hush puppies (our starters) were delicious and endless. My son kept talking about how soft the bread on his sandwich was and how it all melted together after dipping it in the sauce. He couldn't say enough good things about it which says a lot because he is extremely picky about his sandwiches. My shrimp was also delicious. As one of my sides, I got the garlic parm mashed potatoes and they were to die for!! I could go back and order those as a meal by themselves.
I highly recommend this place! It has been added to the top of our list of places to go when we are in the area.

The food was incredible and Gabby was such an awesome server! We had a blast. The chicken and waffles were phenenomal. My husband enjoyed the pulled pork nachos. The kids also liked their foods. 10/10 would recommend and hopefully Gabby serves you!

Me and my family love coming down to mac’s, great food and they are quick getting your food to you even on busy nights. They have mostly nice staff and managers like Mike, but we’ve had a server twice that ignored us, drinks stayed empty, and waited 30 minutes as she walked past us on her phone trying to get our check. She seemed nice at first but she really doesn’t seem like she wants to be at work or enjoys it.
Very good burgers. Great smoked wings! Very lively atmosphere!

Worst painkiller I’ve had, there was no coconut on the rim or in the drink. My fried pickles and Mac bowl were so salty. I didn’t even eat it.

Sarah is the BEST server. She is the most kind and caring person. Also, you’re guaranteed to have entertainment when she’s around. Sarah will never let your drink go empty and will always make sure your food comes out PERFECT.
