Honestly, I've never had a bad Marcos experience. Pizza is always ready on time and is always consistently good!
THE ONLY PLACE ILL ORDER LARGE AMOUNTS OF PIZZA FOR AN EVENT. They have never failed me. On time for carry out every. single. time. So much so that I literally just googled them just to leave this review. If you need a pizza or a bunch of pizza at a certain time on a certain day, this is your place. Thank you, pleasantburg marcos!

I ordered a medium half hamburger and half pepperoni around 4:30pm on 12/14/24 from Marcos N. Pleasantburg Dr. It was awful. The marina sauce was missing and skimpy on the dough crust and the cheese was almost nonexistent. This was not the quality of pizza I’m used to from Marcos. Will try another restaurant next time.

I recently ordered delivery from Marcos for dinner tonight, but I was very disappointed with the delivery experience. Nowhere on your website does it mention that you use a third-party delivery service like DoorDash. If I had known I would have picked the food up myself. When my food arrived, the boxes were not sealed, and the food was room temperature at best.
While I don't suspect any food safety issues, the lack of proper packaging and temperature control raises concerns. I've had health problems in the past due to foodborne illness, so I couldn't risk eating the food. what a waste.
I believe it's important to be transparent about your delivery process. By updating your website to inform customers about third-party delivery, you could save them time and money by allowing them to make informed decisions.

EDIT: I returned a week later and ordered two pizzas again. This time both were topped evenly, and cut well. They were also ready at the quoted time. I'll also add that the manager emailed me personally to make things right after my initial review. My rating is updated from 2 stars to 4 stars.
I ordered a large and XL for pickup. It took an extra 20 minutes after the quoted pickup time for the pizza to be ready. The XL featured some of the wildest cuts I've seen on a pizza (you can see how uneven everything is in the pic, some pieces an inch wide, others a normal XL width); the topping distribution was also very uneven, with some large portions completely bare. The large was similar, albeit cut normally.

This was my go-to pizza place but the last few times I've been this past month, the pizza quality has noticeably degraded.
The pizzas are so underbaked, and you can't pick up a piece without half of the cheese just sliding off.
It's a shame, I don't know if it's lack of training or they need to get their ovens calibrated, but I'll be searching for a new pizza place.
I will say they have amazing deals all the time, and the employees try their best during the rushes.
