Business has been closed for months. The city owns the building and shut it down due to structural issues.

Great food! Service was slow but it was Mother's Day and very busy.

Nothing to get excited about. Outside dining on a beautiful day. Food was ok, service was acceptable.

The service was horrible, we had to approach the waiter to take our order after staring at him for over 20 minutes to grab his attention. Non apologetic, just straight to: what's your order? Placed order and no joke nearly 1 hour before we got the order, plenty of time to provide utensil and never did. Had to ask for utensil after 10 minutes of waiting with our plates served. Food got cold, we ordered egg benedic with hasbrown casserole and it was disgusting but had decent presentation.. Asked for the check and had to wait another 20 minutes for it. The place has a lot of potential, needs cleaning and sanitary procedures. I would not go back!

ATTENTION!!!!! to anyone that has been affected by this closing. We have just been saved by the following venue: Lakeside Venue at Pioneer. So happy to have found an honest venue that has all the services we need for a successful event. We have posted contact information if you need help!!!!!

I have an event scheduled in Mary's in a few months. We have put down a $1000 deposit to hold the location. I have tried to contact them to finalize food options. I have emailed our Gather coordinator 10 times with no response. Mary's will not answer the phone, has a full mail box, and an inactive website. Now they have a sign indicating they are temporarily closed with no time table on return and no way to contact them.Update after 3 weeks: Still have heard absolutely nothing from Mary's and am forced to find a new venue.

Truly don't understand how one can reserve this location for a rehearsal dinner AND put a security deposit in only to get RADIO SILENCE. How can someone think that is in any way acceptable to run a business? Luckily, we have time to reschedule our rehearsal dinner at a location that's willing to help us out but feel terribly for those who had upcoming events and are now stranded. Was really looking forward to hosting all of our out of town guests at this historic spot, but its truly left a bad taste in our mouths for this spot... Super disappointing to say the least.

The communication when we booked my brother's rehearsal dinner was poor to begin with, but now the venue has closed (found out via a news article) and we have not been able to contact the restaurant via email, phone, or the event planning website. Now we may be out of our deposit money because we need to rebook a different venue to guarantee we have a place to host the rehearsal dinner. I understand they may be unsure of when they can reopen but they should be reaching out to all of their clients at least letting them know the venue is closed! Insane. You can't just take people's money and disconnect your phone number and website.

My daughter was supposed to get married at Mary’s Falls Cottage overlooking the park in 1 week. Having some last minute questions, we reached out to the new owner who took over in 2019. He didn’t respond so we went there, and this note is on the door. He will not answer his phone or return text messages.

Easiest one star review I have ever given, would give it zero if I could. We were supposed to have a private event here - 3 weeks before the event, the staff/owner stopped returning all calls/emails. One week out, we started investigating on our own, to find that they had a partial floor collapse in their building. Bad things happen - but going radio silent and refusing to communicate with customers who have planned events is beyond unacceptable. To make matters even more suspicious - the last correspondence we had from the restaurant was the staff calling to suggest that we move the event outside to the garden area, with no reason given. Having already paid for the nicer/private indoor area, we politely declined. Sure appears as if the staff was aware there were issues with the indoor area and were not forthcoming.I have never had a more unprofessional experience with a restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs, save yourself the stress, disappointment, and frustration.

Nice quaint place. Solid brunch. Wonderful atmosphere. Worth the visit if you’re downtown.

We ate here this afternoon and everything about this place is amazing. The ambiance being right on the river and being able to sit outside under the trees is great, the building is a beautiful, old and historical looking cottage and the food was great! But our favorite part by far was Troy. He seemed to be doing everything: hosting, serving, food runner, etc. He was hilarious, kind and making sure everyone had everything they needed.

We hosted a wedding rehearsal dinner for 27 on a Friday night. Could not have turned out any better. We were able to eat outside on the beautiful patio adjacent to the restaurant. As dinner concluded, rain moved into the area and we relocated to the upstairs eating area and balcony. The staff, having clearly dealt with such situations in the past, made quick effort of getting the party moved. Lauren walked us through the planning for this event (we live out of state) and was very helpful. Kent personally handled everything the night of the event. Their staff were professional/polite/helpful. And of course there was the food...delicious and fresh earning high praise from our guests. Overall, we could not have picked a better location nor restaurant operation to facilitate our event. Kudo's to Kent and Lauren for offering such a great service!!

Cutest location! Ate on the balcony that over looked the park. The food was fantastic! The dill relish garnish on the deviled eggs was the best! The fried green tomatoes are a must get! Highly recommend the pimento cheese blt and hot chicken salad. If you’re in Greenville this is a MUST visit!
