I never got my order! It was scheduled to be delivered at 6:57. At 7:08 I called and the girl that answered said it left and that they use DoorDash. Door Dash reached out and said they hadn’t gotten the food yet. I waited until 7:25 and still no food. Called the restaurant back. She said they left a “long time ago”. Door Dash said they were still waiting?????Door Dash cancelled the order and I paid $22 for no pizza!

We ordered take out. I myself wasn’t a huge fan of the pizza a so felt it was too dry. (My fault though because I ordered regular sauce, lol). My husband however really enjoyed Mellow Mushroom because they are one of the few that offer dairy/gluten free options. He was actually able to feel normal for once and partake in pizza night with us! And he seemed to really enjoy his pizza as well. So for that and the thought that MM puts in to serving all individuals- I had to give them 5stars. You guys out a smile on my husbands face- and for that I’m very grateful!

I walked in on a Sunday afternoon around 3:30. There were a few people working in the kitchen. Most of the employees were sitting at a table behind the bar eating. The bartender poured me a beer and went back to her table to eat. She was not friendly at all.
I had to find my own menu.
I have no idea how the food taste because I haven’t got it yet. And it was already a bad experience coming here.

I would not recommend this place at all.

The restaurant had only like 4 tables…. Our server totally sucked! Had to snap a pic from across the restaurant. Since she never seemed to care about our table. Literally had to ask another server if that was our food waiting to be picked up. It was indeed our food. Had to ask for refills on our drinks 3 times. And she just didn’t care at all. WHAT A WASTE OF $103!

We love the veg out pizza at Mellow Mushroom (MM). We have eaten at MM restaurants in Charlotte, NC; Mt. Pleasant, SC; Charleston, SC, and Wilmington, NC.
We will only order take out from this Greenville restaurant until the inside furniture is repaired, the male greeter is coached for providing proper service with a smile and friendly approach.
A restaurant's greeter is the most important job for a great first impression, or they can totally cause the customer to turn around and walk out. We haven't dined inside in years, but we were tired from having fun with our 3 great grandkids all day, so we made a decision to relax and eat in the restaurant.
We walked into the front door, got to the greater that looked like he couldn't stand us. You have to understand, most restaurants we frequent hug us when we come in. We try to be the happiest, and nicest customers a server deals with. He never smiled, didn't say anything to us until he was ready to walk us to the table, he said something like follow me. He didn't look at us when he asked us to follow. He walked us to a table that was in a bad location under a TV Screen. When we asked if we could move somewhere else he acted totally disgusted.
We started to walk out after being seated due to this attitude, but a server showed up that recognized me for a regular weekly takeout order. She was super nice. We commented that the greater really needs to do a better job and he is very important to presenting a good first impression.
We won't dine in unless I see major changes when I pick up my next take out order.
Also, when I pick up a take out order, a server that waited on us over a year ago, seems thrilled to see me, as well as the pizza chef speaks to me and calls me out by name.
Atmosphere: The booths need fixing, that backs are very loose so if a customer moves on the opposite side the back rocks back and forth. It's very irritating. Our booth seem to be tighter than some others.

First time here in a bit. Service was unacceptable. Sat down and ordered pretzel bites. 45 minutes later, they never came. Pizza came about 30 minutes after we ordered, and wasn't even hot. It had been sitting a while. Our server April barely showed up, and was very unhappy the entire time. Due to our pretzel bites never coming, the assistant gm said they would give us a 50% discount on the meal. That discount was not applied, and was instead a $7 discount on one of our pizzas. The food tasted good. But service was well below average. Will be a while before I come back.

We go to Mellow Mushroom Greenville every Tuesday night for Trivia, and it’s usually a solid experience. I’ll be honest — the food can be slow at times, but it’s always been delicious, and a couple of the servers are absolutely top-notch. Jolene and Tuesday consistently do a great job and are the reason we keep coming back.

Unfortunately, this past Tuesday was completely unacceptable.

When we arrived, our table was supposedly being cleaned so we could sit. After waiting about five minutes while the gentleman kept walking off, my wife finally went behind the counter, grabbed a rag herself, and finished cleaning the table just so our party of four could sit down.

Once seated, we waited another 10 minutes before our server (April) finally came over — and only after we repeatedly waved her down. After placing our order, over five more minutes passed, and I had to flag down another waiter just to ask about our drinks. Keep in mind, I ordered water, and my wife ordered one mixed drink.

When we asked April about the drinks, she got an attitude, said the bar was “extremely busy,” and rolled her eyes. Later that night, we spoke directly with the bartender and were told that my wife’s mixed drink had been sitting on the bar for almost 10 minutes.

This level of service is extremely disappointing, especially since we are regular customers who come every Tuesday, order dinner, and have drinks. This was not a one-off inconvenience — it was poor service from start to finish.

I really hope Mellow Mushroom gets it together, because we genuinely enjoy Trivia night and want this location to succeed — but service like this makes it hard to keep coming back.

Idk how I've never heard of it- but happy hour on Tuesday is 2.50 for pints under 10%- hands down best happy hour in town. Apps were off the chain- will be back 100 times
