What a shame. The food is really good but service is bad. Its almost like no one wanted to help you. We had to ask for menus and silverware. 15 minutes later when we finally got someone to take the order we were told oxe tail and curry goat was out. Had to go ask for the check. Took 15 minutes standing in front of them to even get them to acknowledge we were there to pay.

Being a Miami native I love coming to Mi Irie as it’s one of the few Jamaican spots in Greenville. This is my first time ordering the shrimp and chicken jerk pasta and I’m disappointed. There’s absolutely no shrimp and it just looks thrown together. But I take part accountability for not checking my food before leaving the building. Pasta is just one of those things I won’t be getting from here. I’ll stick to the oxtails.

Awesome food once you are able to order it or receive it. The Woodruff Rd location has the worst customer service ever. Training definitely needs to be implemented in order to attract and retain customers a loyal customer base.

Got there wasn’t greeted for about 5 mins. Lady walked past me with the screw face 3 times and only opened her mouth to asked if I was picking up. Ordered jerk chicken and it was the worst jerk chicken I’ve ever tasted. It was boiled chicken with bbq sauce on top. Chicken tasted like it was refrigerated then reheated. I would never go to that place again to eat.

I had the oxtail plate and my wife had the jerk chicken now I am a cook I don't specialize in jamacian cuisine but my food tast better than this. THE OXTAILS had no taste although the rice n beans was ok it's wasn't fresh it tasted like the rice n beans you get off the shelf the jerk chicken had no jerk to it just ketchup. I was mad I couldn't enjoy it and we was Hungary.

They opened at 12 and we were seated at 1245. We placed our drink and food order(Med and Large Curry Goat). We received our drinks. Then about 10 minutes later, we were told they were out of goat. So you didn't know that last night before you closed because I know 45 minutes after opening, you didn't run out.

I am just a southern Guy from South Carolina. The aesthetics of the establishment is pleasing. Now, a breakdown of the food. I ordered.
The jerk chicken dinner. I am not a lover of carrots, but I.ate all of them. The chicken was tender, well seasoned and a total pleasure for the palate. Being southern, The rice and beans reminded me of hop and john with an enriched caribbean overtone. The plantain was a nice finish and the perfect dessert. I highly recommend this dining experience It is an asset
to greenville.

No one behind the counter when we walked in. Not greeted when the guy behind the counter finally came out. At not even 6pm they had no oxtails so ordered the jerked chicken. Should have known by the lack of patrons that this was going to be trash. What I got was the Temu version of jerked chicken. My stepdad is from Kingston, so I KNOW what jerked chicken should look and taste like. This had a thick sauce that looked and tasted like bbq sauce. Absolutely NO heat. Carrots and rice n peas were mediocre. I always go downtown and get great food. This place should just close its doors. My friend took most of his and my chicken with him so as not to be rude. Best thing I had was the bottled cream soda. If I could give zero stars I would.
