First time I've ever been to this restaurant. My husband is from New Jersey and he said each bite was like being back to his hometown in New Jersey. The sandwiches beat philly grill by a million. This is the only place from now on that I'll get a cheese steak. I will drive all the way from Travelers Rest to get them. I can't remember the nice guy with the beards name, but he had true southern hospitality. 😁

Best roast pork I’ve had outside of Philly. Despite living 12 hours away, I still consider jumping on a plane to return to GVL just for another roast pork sandwich from Mike’s. It was that good. If you don’t like it then you might be wrong, probably. Seriously, well done on this sandwich. Can’t wait to get back.

Parking: You can also park across the street, if it's too full.
This place is awesome, I got a mikes classic. It was super delicious. They also give military discount. The only thing I dislike, is that they don’t serve FRIES!!! That’s not even a major issue but please put fries back on the menu!
