I personally don’t often take the time to post a review, not proud just fact. My adult daughter and I were visiting Greenville recently for a long weekend and this coffee shop, cafe, meeting space needs 5 stars plus. The menu is a perfect size, not too limited, not to broad you can’t make a decision. My seasonal latte was perfect, taste and temperature. Tried my daughters and felt the same with hers. My biggest reason for my review though is the waffle we purchased. I myself am not a waffle person. My daughter ordered the special pumpkin seasonal waffle because she discerned from reviews waffles are a mountain goat staple. I was not going to even try a bite as she nicely cut the waffle in half to share. She said, you HAVE to have ONE bite. To please my daughter I did. OH MY God, I had to shut my eyes and mindfully experience the flavors and consistency and outer crunch vs chewy center all at the same time. I immediately claimed the half she offered and mindfully enjoyed every bite. Mountain Goat is worthy of your time esthetically, financially, socially and flavorfully. Who would think a 58 year old could surprisingly become overly fond of waffles? Everyone needs to try at least one!!!

I LOVE Mountain Goat. Everyone who works at Goat is an amazing human. They genuinely care about the people who come in and will get to know you. The food is AMAZING. Best waffles in Greenville hands down. Incredible and creative options for beverages. You cannot go wrong here!

Great place! Super cool place to hang out and the coffee menu is solid! Also... WAFFLES! To top it off they have a great community connection between outdoor programs and a "pay it forward" program, will definitely be coming back!

Cutest coffee shop. Everyone is always friendly and it’s a nice place to spend the afternoon at.
Love the products! Food is delicious AND they do not use corn syrup! Real sugar, real flowers for essence, delicious special waffles (not made with batter ~ they’re made from dough!) Staff is friendly and helpful, scones are awesome- and the Mountain Goat ministry works with youth in outdoor experiences like camping.

I loved it here! They have a pay it forward system to buy drinks for strangers which is such a nice way to build a community. The staff is great and it’s super modern but comfortable inside. I give 4 stars bc my waffle wasn’t *quite* cooked enough. Still a little doughy on the inside. I will absolutely be back.
