Went with a friend who got us reservations at the bar,which you'd want to have on a Friday night. Bartender was amazing- very knowledgeable about the drinks and menu, both of which rotate fairly often apparently. We nibbled our way through oysters, the ceviche, and octopus. It was all really good. It will definitely be on my list of places to visit again with or without friends!

We try to go at least once a week. Fantastic! And to be honest, when we go out of town and get cocktails, the comments are “it’s not as good as Justin’s!” Best bartender! Great team, great food. Like family. It doesn’t get better. Best oysters in town. I don’t know what else to say.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while, and tonight as I was headed down East North I had the opportunity to try this awesome spot out! I ordered their famous fish and chips entree along with some hush puppies. The food was phenomenal, bursting with freshness and flavor. I would highly recommend giving this spot a try if you’re in the Overbrook area. The staff was incredibly nice and friendly and packaged my togo order with care!

Lovely evening at Mr. Crisp. Delightful, hip with an edge of elegance vibe. Perfect fish and chips--crispy on the outside, tender on the inside. Crisp cabbage salad with some thai elements. The prix fixe menu is also an excellent deal. Service gracious but not intrusive. This is one of the best restaurants in town.

Mr. Crisp has a coastal feel, like visiting Charleston by heading across town. They put together great seafood dishes (whole snapper for two), the drink menu is next level and selection of oysters is outstanding.

Service was good, the waitress was EXTREMELY helpful! Great atmosphere, food ok. We had the fish and chips. You get one piece of fish on top of restaurant fries, all for $24. To us, that's a little pricey for what you are getting. The fish was ok, fries were....fries! I say that because when you look them up, it says, "Mr. Crisp focuses on fresh, thoughtfully prepared seafood through our signature FISH & CHIPS. " I assumed that the chips would be homemade. The fish was a different white fish, wasn't traditional Haddock or Cod. That was fine. It was a tad under cooked, though. I would give them a try if you're in the neighborhood.

Mr. Crisp is the best seafood restaurant in Greenville, and it’s not even close! Especially if you like raw oysters, they have a whole menu from different regions. It needs to be in the conversation for best restaurants of any type honestly.There are always new menu items, and the chef’s creations are top notch. We’ve never had a dish where the flavors weren’t on point! Don’t miss the cocktails either, they are all fantastic.The service is always amazing! The whole operation is next level, don’t miss it if you haven’t tried it yet. You can tell they put a lot of thought, energy & love into their craft!

I thought the oysters here were just lovely. Some of the best in town in my opinion! The staff was very friendly and the service was swift for a busy night!Updating to say, oysters are still great but we visited recently and tried the lobster bisque... Truly one of the worst 'lobster bisque's' I've ever tasted in my life. Definitely do not recommend trying that.

Mr. Crisp is our favorite restaurant in Greenville! The food is consistently delicious. (Even if you don't like seafood, they have fabulous meat and vegetarian options.) I love that they have solid staple items on their menu and seasonal rotating dishes. The same goes for the cocktails, wine, and beer on tap. The service is also top notch--the bar, serving, and management staff are all welcoming, kind, and helpful. Couldn't recommend more!

The food was amazing. The cocktails were out of this world. But let me tell you about Tyler. He ran out of the restaurant to bring my phone to the car which I left on the table... because the cocktails... Also shout out to Luke who remembers patrons' names and made us feel at home. Justin - your cocktails made our night!
