I, like the last few reviews I read, came with the expectation of a good experience due to the glowing reviews. We found several packs of expired spices in the front of store that they were selling. Which I understand can happen, but after ordering and getting our food I was really surprised at how bad it was. The butter chicken is a universally loved Indian dish and it tasted really bad with rubbery chicken. My wife got dhai puri that was not thawed out fully. I understand that restaurants need to do certain things to deal with volume including food prep and we expect that a certain degree but we aren’t supposed to be able to taste that. Anyway, we will give it another shot one day I’m sure - the kid taking the take out order and stuff was very nice.

Something different. Good egg dishes. Indian street food cravings satisfied.

For the life of me- I cannot understand why the good reviews. Chicken curry should not be bland and soupy ever; like water mixed with curry powder. Horrible. Do yourself a favor and go to another Indian restaurant. Several good ones in Greenville.

Good... I need to ask for a higher spice level. Mine was a little bland.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND AVOID THIS PLACE!!! If I had money and good lawyer I’d have sued these guys!! I got a takeaway and was so hungry!!! I literally had diarrhea after eating their food. Their naan bread, chicken roganjosh and chaat made me literally sick. Now it all should’ve been worth it if it was cheap and at least tasty but NOO. Their dahi wada was a joke. As an Indian I apologize to all of Americans who’ve been here. PLEASE DO NOT JUDGE INDIAN FOOD AFTER HAVING FOOD HERE. Steer clear of this place

After reading all of the glowing reviews I was really excited to try this place, but I'm not going to lie, not one thing about the meals we had was even close to three stars. Maybe someone else was cooking? I don't know, but it just all lacked flavor. I don't think I've ever had to put salt on Indian food until I ate here. The flavor was that lacking - WITH INDIAN FOOD! Do yourself a favor and try some other Indian restaurant, because this is not the one you are looking for. One star added because I didn't starve.

I have eaten here a few times and unfortunately the food is just ok. The spices are nice but the meat tends to be dry and the food needs salt to bolster it's flavors. The bigger issue is the lack of detailed allergy warnings. My sister had a severe allergic reaction from two bites of the stuffed okra, more than likely because nuts were used in it. I searched the menu and site and saw no mentions of any kind about nut usage. their menu did not give a detailed explanation of what was in the food nor what could possibly be in the food. You've been warned people with allergies.

The BEST Indian food in the Upstate, period. Incredible flavor and wonderful people. Can’t get enough!

Awesome food. Incredibly friendly owner

I love the veg biryani at a 0 spice level, but even after trying it at spice levels 2/3 accidentally I keep coming back for more. The food is fresh and the service is good!

I have heard about this place for a couple months and finally went last night for takeout. My only regret is waiting so long. The food was absolutely amazing and the family that runs it was so incredibly welcoming and friendly. They let us sample some thing we didn’t order. They also explained where they are from and how the food is a little bit different. The amount of flavor in every dish was amazing. We will go back soon and they are now offering cooking classes on Saturday and sundays.

this is seriously the best indian food i’ve ever had. ever since i was little, i have loved curry, and i have had so many amazing indian dishes, but this place is absolutely one of a kind. i’ve never had something with more flavor, and i’ve never met nicer people. my new favorite restaurant

Great food. Lots of vegetarian options. Groceries and cooking classes available if you want to learn to cook your own at home. Friendly staff. Will definitely be going back.

Fantastic food! It was very fresh and flavorful. We could tell it was just made for us. A little slow, but worth the wait. Yum!

This was, without a doubt, the worst Indian food we've ever had. My husband tossed his after a couple of bites. I hosed down my entree with water to remove the unappetizing sauce that the food was swimming in. The crowning touch was that everything, in our opinion, was overpriced. Never again.
