Richard was rude from the time I called to make reservation. Rude when we arrived. Our group has enjoyed many wine events at various other locations and countries and never experienced such an unpleasant experience.
Unfortunately, we will not return or recommend attending any wine events here.

This review is based on a "wine tasting" that a group of 5 of us attended this evening. We did arrive less than 5 minutes late and had one member in a wheel chair. Richard, the person who was conducting the tasting, was unbelievably rude when we arrived. . Several people had to move their seats to accommodate the wheelchair. Richard made at least three comments during his "presentation" alluding to the fact that several minutes were taken to adjust the seating arrangements. It made all of us in the party uncomfortable. I can not believe how insensitive and crass he was. We , as a group will never attend another tasting nor dine at North Hampton Wines in the future. Very diassapointed in the lack of professionalism demonstrated by this establishment.

Absolutely spectacular food, service and ambiance. We will to go back next time we come to Greenville. And we will bring a big bag or box so we can carry out more wine bottles from their collection.

one of my favorite places to sit at the bar and drink one. has one bar side and one restaurant side. you can buy bottles to take home or buy and sit with cork fee. has a few outdoor seats. One of the better wine selections in town.
Update 21/22 : since covid they have shut down bar seating, so everything is now tables and reservations are recommended.

Excellent all around! We celebrated a friend's birthday and they were fantastic! The wine room with a few tables was a perfect private spot for us to enjoy. Food, wine, and service were tremendous!!
Parking: Easy parking, considering it is in Greenville.

My wife and I went here for our first time and loved the concept and food. Alex was amazing and knowledgeable in wine. We had the grilled Brie along with the Hot Chili Seafood and it paired nicely with the Bordeaux. Will definitely be back.

Have been here several times and always a great meal. Salmon is great, the short rib is tender, service is stellar, and the wine selection is VAST! They treat everyone with care and help recommend bottles based on taste and price tub no judgement. Love it here!
Visited for a work dinner. Delicious food and great atmosphere. The staff was friendly and it was overall a great time. Highly recommend the tomato pie and chocolate mousse.

Have been going to North Hampton Wine for approximately 10 years. It’s been my most frequently visited restaurant in Greenville. Last evening a small group experienced the absolute worst service imaginable. Members of our group had to go find our waiter on multiple occasions. Mandatory gratuity on a single bottle of wine purchased by an individual. Most offensive, however was the argumentativeness of the manager. Openly disputing with two members of our group on separate occasions. Sorry North Hampton, we will never have our professional business meeting there again.

A good experience. Chili seafood bowl and blackened salmon for me. For my spouse, charcuterie and shrimp&grits. All good. The charcuterie slices of bresaola and sausage are better if paper thin.
Had a pinot from Domaine Chanson 2020 Pernand-Vergelesses, very nice. I understand the corkage.
As a burgundy guy, I’d like to see older vintages as well as bottles from better known houses. e.g. Roumier / Dujac.
The dining room could use a rug or runner. Click of heals and dropping silverware (3x) detracts.
Bread service aka Wonder Bread baguette - less than run-of the-mill. Why not warm slices of a sourdough boule? Just some artisan made bread would improve.
A nit: howabout a bag for the squeeze of lemon - all over my hands.
