I want to preface this with the fact that I love Otherlands and I come here a lot, but I want to start with the cons: The parking situation is really bad. If they're busy, don't risk getting towed, just go home (or somewhere else). They have two small lots and really limited street parking. The food is not great. It's definitely lacking in flavor, which is a shame because it looked so good. We tried the patty melt and the kimchee grilled cheese with fries. Neither of us felt compelled to finish our sandwiches. The fries at minimum needed more salt, but have kind of a strange after taste. Wasn't a fan of the sauces either. Now for the pros: The coffee is great, the staff is wonderful, there's plenty of space so you never have to worry about grabbing a table. They have a fun little wine list and lots of community events. All in all, it's a great place to hang for a bit.

I love to come work here during the day, their matcha latte is super good. But HEAR ME OUT…can you guys please get silent/vibrate food buzzers. Or maybe a texting system. Those beeps are so distracting and when multiple go off around the same time it seriously is hard to keep focused on my conversations or work ?. I love it here so I wanna keep coming back, but sometimes I leave because so much beeping/buzzing happens within like a 30 minute window of being there. Only other thing is I’d love some other healthy food options for a small bite (maybe avo toast, hummus and pita/veg, parfaits, etc), but I don’t go here for food so that’s not a huge dealbreaker for me. Just the buzzers ?

My first visit here was amazing!! Can’t say enough good things about them. Actually went for lunch today , just left , no drinks no food and wasn’t helped at all! Very very poor service and never helped during the 50min we patiently waited . May not return again. Very disappointed

Top notch place. Great atmosphere and even better beer. The food is also pretty good - based on the Elena Ruz that I had. Mel is a fantastic representative of this business and I enjoyed chatting with him. Definitely will return.

Stopped in for a dinner and a beer tasting. Quiet on a Wednesday night. It still has a coffee shop vibe even in the evenings so bear that in mind. Delicious asian-leaning food options. The beers all carry a certain personality - light and drinkable but never lacking any flavor. That appeals to me but it is very much a style decision. I would 100% visit again and encourage anyone to give them a visit.

Absolutely love Otherlands. I love that I have a place to go in the evening for a decaf, na drink, and a snack. the minimalist interior with warm wood tones is so relaxing for me. Always friendly staff and great drinks. Best cafe/brewery combo in Greenville for sure

The best iced latte in GVL! Comparable to some of our NYC and Bham favorites. The friendliest staff and the inside space is so nicely decorated. Highly recommend the fries (with amazing handmade dipping sauces), and the patty melt. The beer and wine are solid and carefully curated.

Love the inviting atmosphere of this neighborhood spot! Coffee, beer, and other beverages are always good. They keep delicious pastries on hand, but their full food menu is wonderful too. Highly recommend the fries basket—curry aioli is too good to miss!
