I hosted my 18th birthday party with a group of about 15 people. First off the manager was welcoming and friendly, he greeted my party as we arrived and had a welcoming positive attitude. However, I give this place 3 stars, the food was AMAZING (i highly recommend the spinach and artichoke dip) but our server must've been having a bad day and taking it out on my party. We had multiple issues with her and her inferior attitude, she was not friendly and scolded us at any request we had. I have never been so scared to ask for a refill making me uncomfortable at my own birthday dinner.

Fish and Chips are good and so is the French Onion Soup

The manager is Walter and he's wonderful. Markel is a great server. The 11 to 2 salad and wing buffet is awesome for 10.99.

Just the the absolutely worst experience at this place. The food and service was some of the worst I have ever experienced. Took 30 min to take or drink orders, another 15 to take our food order, 1.5 hours to get our food, and then had to send my burger back as it was absolutely raw. During that time I did ask for another drink and the server huffed off and never brought it to me. The others in our party had similar issues. And worst of all, turns out the server was also the manager. Stay clear of this place.

I'm stay in Greenville for work for the pass few months. Palmetto restaurant & Ale house is a near by restaurant that we stop in to eat about 5 times. I have been ordering the salmon salad which is a very good salad. What I notice is that the portions in the salad like the tomato and egg and very small compared to the amount of lettuce. When I ask about the bartender about the portion size he said he don't want to make his boss mad by telling him what I told him about the portions. So now I'm going to just write a review.

We just left here as we had not been seated. We arrived a bit before 8 pm and were told it would be 20 minutes to be seated. When it was 30 minutes my husband asked again and was told it would be another 30 minutes as they just seated a group and couldn't seat anyone else. That group was waiting when we got there. There were empty tables my husband mentioned, but the gal still said she could not seat anyone else. We left and enjoyed a very good dinner at Carolina Ale house!

Food took forever to get to the table. Waiter didn’t stop to ask for refills, he was in a rush even though there was a very small crowd. Food overall was good, if you feel like waiting a while.

Good restaurant in the area for dinner and drinks. I had the French onion soup which was very good and salad with chicken ($9). Very surprised by the size of salad and full chicken breast to 1.5 breasts in salad all for $9 or so. Good portion and toppings. Coworker had the veggie burger which he was not impressed with and it was missing avocado and he said was a bit bland. He did enjoy the fried pickles.

Great place. Love the lunchtime wing special. Nice folks, Friendly owner. Little salad bar at lunch with all the right stuff. Be back soon.

Wings were kind of dry no source on them. Used to be a fantastic place to get a prime rib. They stop that about year ago. Please bring it back I was there every week. I rarely go now

Fried pickles were very good. Rest of food was blah. Service typically slow.

I cannot say how their food was because I never got to that point. As my party and I walk in we weren't greeted by anyone. After a few mins a server rushed by us with food in his hand telling us "someone will be with you in a minute." However, no one ever came by to greet us and seat us. A couple walked in behind my party and a few minutes after they left. I couldn't believe that it had been this long and no one came by to seat us or at least write our name down. My party left then as well. This place was not busy at 6 o'clock so I'm disappointed that they could not seat us and acknowledge that customers had just walked through the door.

The food is typically good, lots of reasonably priced drink options, and we’ve always had good service. John B. is the best and always takes care of us if we go when he’s working. Plenty of space, and trivia and dirty bingo are fun to do.

Very slow service on a Sunday afternoon. Sat in the bar area bartender had our table. Took forever to take order and bring food. Fish & chips was about as good as the service. Would pass on by next time.

I came here two nights in a row (don't judge!) in October. Neither night was very busy, but it was after 9pm both nights. The first night, I was by myself and sat at the bar. On night two, I was with a group of four and we sat at a hightop table. The attention that I was getting at the bar on the first night wasn't special. In fact, the bartender seemed to be distracted talking to another patron about which NFL games to bet on Sunday. I had wings that were fine, like most wings are! The second night, I continued to have beer, but I tried the burger. Again, it was good, but nothing remarkable. The first beer that I selected off of a big chalk board wasn't available, so that was a little sad. The highlight involved the other three friends at my table. They are martini aficionados and they were extremely specific in their requests. The bartender actually came over and talked to them in person about exactly what they were expecting. When the drinks came out, my friends were all very pleased! It's the best late-night spot at this exit, so odds are, I will be back
