It started with fantastic service at the counter with a friendly smile and a wonderfulsuggestion after I placed my order to try the carnitas Gordita. A fantastic bite paired with a cold modelo. The group rounded out our order with an Al Pastor taco, Shrimp taco and Birra Taco. Everyone loved their order including another margarita to wash it down. If you're down on the river front don't walk by Papis.

We stopped here for a drink and some chips. Has a fun outside space right off the river. Yummy margaritas, $12 each and the chips and salsa was really fresh. Definitely a spot to stop and hang out for awhile.

Love the old location BUT the new location is FABULOUS! The location is perfect, especially with the outside courtyard area that is dog-friendly! The spirits selection has definitely stepped up! The service is always top-notch, especially if you Nuri these are probably some of my favorite tacos in the Upstate area! The traveling taco isn't on the new menu, but they still have it!

This is a great taco spot. I went to their new location. It isn't too pricey and is perfect for lunch. There is seating in the restaurant, but I've also gotten takeout during the workday and the service is pretty quick. I have a severe food allergy, and they were very friendly and accommodated it easily.

Great location - located in a quieter part of downtown on the Swamp Rabbit trail. Ordered the baja fish tacos, pulled chicken tacos, and the shrimp tacos. The service was quick. It was a bit pricey for a taco place, but we did order the more "premium" tacos on the menu. The baja was my personal favorite. It was a perfectly cooked fried tilapia. Personally, I don't think I'll order the chicken tacos again. You have to really like pulled chicken. I did enjoy all the toppings on each taco like the coleslaw, cucumber salad, and guacamole spread. I was definitely full after three tacos. My boyfriend ordered a margarita. Not our favorite. It was too sweet, and I could not taste the alcohol. It was a warm night, and we enjoyed our outdoor meal at Papis Tacos! My only suggestion would be to add more outdoor seating!

The new Papi's location on Augusta is my new favorite spot for some of the best tacos in Greenville - the Pastor tacos are off the chart - Jorge does a great job here - clean and well organized- overall a great place!!

By far these are the best tacos I have ever eaten when traveling. If you want some good Mexican food this is MUST place to visit!! Tacos, quesadilla and chips and salsa are good and reasonable prices too. Highly recommend. 2 locations in Greenville, SC. One location opens after 4pm and the main one at park at noon.Parking: Best to walk to location or Uber if you don't want to get frustrated with parking.Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly
