You can't beat a variety of home style cooking and veggies. Order at the counter and the food is brought to the table by the staff which are very attentive and checked on us a couple times to be sure everything was right and good. Prices are right with a full meal under $10.

Food came out and got our order wrong 3 times btw. Then when they got our order right they it was greasy af. Then they hated us told my uncle to stop being annoying. Then the floors were really dirty. I dont recommend going

Food is good. But they take forever to prepare your food. Don’t come here if you are on lunch break. By the time you get your food it be time to go back to work!!!!!

Defeats the purpose if you order ahead but then they don't have the food in the time frame they said to come in. I understand being busy but they hadn't even started to cook it until I showed up 20 minutes after order was placed. If you are on a 30 minute lunch break I'd advise going somewhere else if you want to make it back to the job in time. Food is ok but service is 1 star.Update: after "cooking it fresh" the girl saw a bag sitting on the table. She had the name wrong on the bag. She had put the name "Clay" on the bag instead of Jon. Don't know how that could be confused. My food was cold after sitting there for 35 minutes. Instead of giving me the fresh one the gave me the cold one. I won't be dining her again they did nothing to make it right just shoved me out the door. A real shame this place has gone so downhill. I used to go there often in my childhood.

Can't beat an old school local establishment with great food, great prices and great looking people running it. Doesn't matter if you get the meat and three or a cheeseburger, it's all great!
We pass by approximately 6 ‘hamburger joints’ to get to Pete’s on Poinsett! We order the same plates nearly every time and they get it right every time. None of those that we pass by can seem to do that.It would be far more convenient to go to a closer restaurant but some things just aren’t worth your time.Just so you know, we order hamburger plates with mayonnaise; mustard; chili and onions. The plate contains some really good slaw. Also comes with some French fries, that I have not found anywhere, in a very long time. I mean really good fries.We order the same thing every time. We never have to wonder if it will be as good as it was last time…it will be !! ?And, “No”. We don’t know who owns this place nor are we relatives. I simply believe in praising where praise is due. ?
