Great shop.
Awesome staff.
Rediculous amount of gear for a shop this size.
We love this shop.

Awesome place for any mountain bike parts need. I run a Trek top fuel and fuel ex. My son has a giant. Mechanic there is awesome.

Awesome staff made up of authentic and passionate riders, top notch demo offerings, and a taproom in middle of everything. Shout out to Allen, Randy, and Frank, who were all incredibly helpful with demo bikes and trail beta.

Today I had a GREAT experience with these guys! I walked in around lunchtime on a Friday, vibe was friendly, and 2 or 3 folks said hello and asked to help! First thing that stood out was the MASSIVE amount of bikes they stock! These guys tend to focus on the higher end, purpose built, industry vetted brands - which was great! As I was browsing I was approached by Allen, he took the time to bring me up to speed on the industry, bike geometry, various builds from different manufactures and also various price points and their key differences. This took about 15mins. We landed on a bike and he had no issues with me peddling outside the shop for a bit to make sure it was what I wanted. I had no real intentions of buying today but ended up back in the shop later that evening to pick it up! After I picked a bike Allen helped me with a helmet and various parts that made sense to go ahead and snag. I thought that we were done - then I met Randy. This dude geeks on the mechanics of these high end bikes! He’s been in the business since 1997, has been to the manufactures facilities, he’s not simply turning wrenches. He spent a solid 45mins getting me fitted perfectly while educating me on my bike and its components the whole time. THEN he helped my daughter with her new bike (that we didn’t even buy from them)! Randy gave my 7 year old the same attention and eagerly got her bike dialed in! I can’t be more happy with this place, the people, the inventory, and the customer service!!! Maybe I caught them on good day but these dudes ROCK! This is the only shop I’ll need.
The bar was really cool, if you’re into those fancy IPA beers you’ll likely enjoy it. LoL.

Thanks for an awesome experience Piney Mtn Team! See ya all soon

Lots of great gear, and advise. Great beverage section also.

Consistently great! I’ve had 2 other shops mess up my bike and Piney Mtn has been stellar.

They also helped me evaluate parts / bikes back when I was newer to the sport.

Great place to have a beer or get your bike worked on. Both is acceptable.

I want to start by saying for the most part, this place is pretty good. The people behind the counter serving beer and working were nice but i went in to purchase a bike and the expert fit guy told me the bike was my size even after I said it felt a little big but he insisted. brought it back after one ride and they would not let me return or exchange for a size down. He said he knew a guy and was going to see if he was interested in purchasing it from me and that he would give me a call back. He gave me a call back saying he's still working on it and would call me back even if the guy said no. well he never gave me a call back and now I'm stuck with a bike that doesn't fit me and they seemed like they were frustrated to help work something out which in my opinion was the bike fitter guys fault for sizing me wrong knowing that I wasn't super knowledgeable about how the sizing should feel. I further went to two other bike shops and they both said the bike was too big. I wish they would value the rider more than being focused on the sell.

Piney Mountain is s great a place. Beer is great. Atmosphere is great and the people who work there are awesome. Best place to grab a beer in town. Also great bike mechanics and the best place around to support by buying bikes.

This place is by far one of the coolest atmospheres you can find in Greenville. The staff, Randy specifically, is very knowledge and I can't answer any and all of your questions. Esther was very polite and the bar is the greatest touch you could have at a bike shop. Will be back many many times

Beautiful combination of a bike shop brewery and a pin pong table. Worth a visit and if you bring a bike your kids can even use the pump track.

Took my mountain bike by to see about fixing or replacing a rear hub, Johnathan was able to get my bike on the stand when I dropped it off and ran through an inspection on the bike to determine what else it needed (which I had asked about). He had the bike fixed up, tuned up, and ready to roll in less than a week. Super cool shop and staff with a great stock of gear as well. This will definitely be my local go to shop for my bike.
