A must try ice-cream soda shop! Great service, food, & atmosphere. Some of their sandwich choices use Dukes spread & they have coneys! Homemade waffle cones & ice-cream they're famous for, along with seasonal flavors of premium Hershey's & fun "extreme sundaes" that are delish. All in vintage stool-twirling counter service.

I walked into the pink at Pickwick and it was truly amazing, it left such good 60s vibes and the customer Service was beyond incredible. The smiling faces of the two young adults behind the counter were more than happy to serve me my ice cream and my Chili dog with everything on it. The homemade chili was truly amazing and the Lord truly blessed whoever made it. A very clean and organized establishment. I will 100% return. This will probably turn into a weekly trip!

This locally owned pharmacy and soda shop is spectacularly clean. The lady behind the soda fountain side is very polite and has apparently been there for a while. She had a great positive attitude, made some fantastic suggestions, and went out of her way to make sure that I was enjoying my lunch. The owner himself spoke with me and has a great attitude too. I definitely recommend this place & love the Hometown hospitality!

I have eaten her quite a number of times but never written a review. The Pickwick carries on a full pharmacy. They also carry first aid and many, what I will call, old-timey medications. Things like Red Oil for cuts or ST37 for sore throats. That sort of thing. The rest of the store carries a lot of Greenville nostalgia and South Carolina gifts, akin to a South Carolina gift shop with a Greenville specific flair. And then there is the full length, old fashioned, drug store lunch counter and soda fountain. Milkshakes, ice cream, banana splits, sundaes and sodas...and hot dogs and Duke's sandwiches. Usually, I get the egg salad on wheat and the ham, pepper & onion spread on wheat. You can get them toasted or not, I prefer not. I visited June 16, 2020 and they had opened up the dining area but not the counter service. Usually, this place would be crawling with children and their mothers out for an ice cream treat and visiting one another. But not during these times. My party of three were the only ones in the dining area. And for whatever reason, they took the ham, pepper & onion sandwich off the menu. Strange times, so I am not going to ding them for that, but the sandwiches are pretty much the simple ingredients and very much like what Mom would make and serve at the kitchen table. The ham and cheese on wheat pretty much describes the entire sandwich except for the mustard, and there you have it. Full on soda fountain. Chips. Quick, good and simple lunch. Give it a try!

Just to step back in time, don't be in a hurry, nothing fancy or particularly epicurean about the food, but tasted good & hit the spot. The ice cream/soda fountain is on my "come back" list. Lots of South Carolina stuff on the store side (bought Tshirt, Bday gift & stationary). I hope we never lose our small town roots with local shops like The Pickwick.

Hands down the best chili dogs, soups and milkshakes in Greenville. Family friendly with old school nostalgia. Don't forget a bag of Dukes sandwiches for all occasions.

Great nostalgic spot for an after school treat for the kiddos. Ice cream counter with tasty milkshakes and a cute shopping area with great gifts for kids.

I am on the fence between 3 and 4. We had a ham and cheese sandwich, a grilled cheese sandwich and a pineapple sandwich. All were very plain, but good. Kudos for offering a pineapple sandwich. I loved them as a kid. The value is great. The atmosphere was awesome. They were personable and knew the regulars by name. I would rate it a 4 or even 5 if it had not been so slow. I guess that is part of the charm, no hurry neighborhood place, but it just seemed a bit disorganized to me. I will be back. 3 is not bad to me, but do not go if you are in a hurry.

Nothing fancy just a good old no frills soda shop in a pharmacy. I was driving by it on my way home this afternoon and I decided to stop in and grab a float. It feels like a soda shop that you see in old movies. It gives you that small town nostalgic feeling where the owner knows everyone by their first name. I mean really, the guy knew the customers who walked in by first name and seem to know them on a personal level. The ladies behind the counter were very friendly. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with my float. And it was decent... toasted white bread with cheddar cheese. Prices were reasonable for sandwiches between $2 - $3. But like I said don't expect anything fancy. Their place looks clean both inside and outside. They sell a few locally sourced items like pimiento cheese and milk from Happy Cow. There's a gift shop where you can buy novelty items. Parking lot is available for customers. And this seems to be a family friendly place to bring your kids for lunch and some ice cream.
