Take a look at that calzone. What more can I say?In truth, Pizza Purist has gone through a few stages since its opening, but I believe it’s finally found its footing as a friendly, local pizza shop. We’ve added Pizza Purist and their wonderful calzone to our regular rotation of dine out spots. As to the price - at the time of writing, a large (14”) specialty at nearby competitors costs about $18.99. Here, you can get a 16” for only a dollar or two more. Well worth it for the quality and support of a local business.

This is THE best pizza in Greenville. The Honey Bee is my favorite and is absolutely delicious. Their crust is perfectly balanced, and on the sweeter side, which I LOVE.Everyone who works here is kind and fun to chat to.I really can't recommend it enough.

Got pizza to go - a margarita pie and the 3 cheeses white pie. Both were excellent with chewy crusts and well seasoned toppings. Service was great. We ordered on the phone and everything was ready on time.My only complaint is the slice sizes- they vary significantly within a single pie.

I’ve been to Pizza Pursists more times than I can count with both hands!!! I’m from New Jersey and this pizza is the only style that reminds me of phenenomal northeast pizza. I even won a contest on their Instagram page and received a free pizza party. If you are in the Greenville area, highly suggest stopping by for their signature pies. I rate this place a 5/5 every time I go.

I ate here about a year ago and found it to be completely forgettable. But I stopped by Friday and was really impressed. Pepperoni, bacon and sausage portions were great, was a huge pie too. Toppings went all the way to the edge, as well. I like the burnt edges now, opposed to the 2 inches of exposed flat, dry crust, like last time. I'm adding this place to my list of options, since I'm in the neighborhood...

We had Pizza Purists last night for the first time, and I was thoroughly impressed. The pies were great, and perfectly cooked (with just a touch of char on the edges of the crust), we tried four different pizzas from there and I honestly feel like you can't go wrong ordering anything from there. We also tried the buffalo pizza rolls (I think they're called pizza rolls) with blue cheese, and they were outstanding! Great buffalo chicken and even better blue cheese. They were also very well cooked, and the quality of the blue cheese stood out to me. It was significantly better than other pizza places blue cheese. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Keep up the good work!

I can honestly say that I enjoy Dominos more. The crust is just greasy and brittle and there’s something weird about the cheese that they use. In addition, the price they charge is outrageous considering the service, what you get, and the location. You would think that a pizza place next door to a laundromat would be more reasonably priced. It wasn’t all bad, at least they got my order right.

I thought the pizza was very good, and VERY BIG! Greek salad also quite delicious, and large enough for two or three. Too bad no subs since they’ve been unable to get rolls, per the lady who took my order, but she said they’ll have some other sandwiches soon.Parking is a bit of a challenge as the lot is small and the barbershop next door seems to be quite the hangout. Landlord needs to do something about that.

Really great pizza. First time I've tried this place, after noticing it when taking the kids for their weekend ice cream at Claires across the street. We got a 20" white. I'd share a picture but we ate it too fast. Looking forward to trying the other recipes.

Best pizza in GVL!! Perfectly crispy, thin, and chewy crust, great homemade toppings, from build your own, to their fantastic creations. The butter and parm dust makes the whole pie! My treat every Friday night!

Looking for dinner after a visit to the downtown area and decided to check into Pizza Purists. Was not disappointed. While there were plenty of specialty pizzas to pick from, we built our own. Will definitely be going back!

Since they opened, the pizza was the best in Greenville. Every week we looked forward to the delicious sauce, cheese and crust. Sad sad to say new owner! We've tried it twice. Not the same and definitely won't be our go to for pizza. It's too bad the new owners chose to change everything and it's obvious the ingredients are not of the same quality. Why buy a successful business and change everything? Why not spend the money and buy the recipes?Good Luck!

Succinct review: the pizza itself is a 5 star. Great flavor, crust is good, topics great. Service is also very good. However, the price is what I would call “Charleston level prices but in Greenville.” I’m kind of surprised to see little said on the cost here. About $25 for speciality pies that are similar in excellent quality to other local parlors doing it for $15-20.

I ordered The Liberty through the Bite Squad app and I was severely disappointed. There was barely any steak or green peppers. Most of the toppings had slid to one side and it just didn’t taste good. I’ve never eaten here before and I saw the great reviews and figured I would give it a try. Maybe today was just a bad day, but since this is my first time eating there, I will never eat here again.

Exceeds expectations! Employees are friendly, the kitchen is spotless and the pizzas taste great! The extra large pizza is a great size.
