The food was out of this world food! My group of four has been raving about this meal for days!!!! The service was also fantastic. They brought us waters right when we sat down and our drinks stayed filled and our empty plates were quickly cleared the entire time. We all got the house salad as a side and it was terrific. The flavor of citrus and zest was mouth watering. The cranberry rice is to die for!!! I got the chicken tolsha (i think) and OMG i can not stop thinking about it! Everyone in my party LOVED their dishes. We all shared two appetizers. One was an eggplant dip and the other a cucumber cream dip. The eggplant dip was to die for and I need the recipe ASAP! We all shared the house ice cream as a dessert and it was so good and the perfect treat to end the meal on. I can not wait to go back to try a cocktail next time as I have high hopes since the food was so good.

My wife and I are long-time patrons of Pomegranate. We live in Asheville, and hour and quarter drive away, and are willing to make the long drive to Greenville because the dining experience is so good: the excellent food, the friendly atmosphere, the fine service, the nicely appointed room. First rate all around. I would expecially like to thank the server we had at a recent visit to Pomegranate. Her name is Hope. I inadvertently left my credit card at the table. When Hope found my card - long before I realized I had left it - she immediately texted me. I did not see the text until the next day, when I was home. I called the restaurant, they confirmed the card was there, and they mailed it back to me promptly in a secure way. So let me add another fine attribute to my praise of this restaurant: kindness and diligence in making sure my total experience was as good as possible. Thank you Pomegranate!

Dylan McMillan was great! The food amazing. Coming from California the prices were just unbeatable for us. Everything we ordered was delicious and portions were great. Dylan provided us with amazing service, and we will definitely tell all of our flight attendant friends to come back to this place.

Food was ok, ambiance not great, service very poor. Might have just been our waitress. Probably have better staff. My wife thought it was pretty good apart from the service. She had the scollop special. I don't think I would go back though. Kind of pricey for the experience we had. Don't mind paying extra as long as it's a pleasant experience. In fact I would pay double for a great experience

I never give bad reviews. But I just could not let this go without letting the owners know how disappointing the food was.First, I think the owner of this restaurant should take a trip to Glendale, CA and eat at Raffi's restaurant. Or just go to ANY Persian restaurant out there. Persian food, particularly their kebab, has to be prepared a certain way. Extremely buttery, tender... falls apart in your mouth, juicy. High quality. The beef at Pomegranate was gamey. The chicken was charcoal burnt, cubed rocks. (Look at the picture). I couldn't even chew it!The food at pomegranate was such a bad representation of Persian food, it actually made me angry. And it is the only Persian place from Greenville to Western North Carolina. The people dining at this establishment are Southern Americans that do not know any better. They have to be. Because if you've grown up eating Persian food, then eat at this place, you will NEVER come back.Let us talk about the rice. ?Persian rice, to me, is quite literally the best tasting rice in the world. It is very hard to prepare. They have a crispy rice wafer that accumulates in the pan called 'tadig', and the rice is simply delicious, with a soft, buttery texture, with a hint of saffron that complements the taste of the rice. The rice here was so awful! Clumpy, sticking together. Cheap! I ordered "cranberry" rice, because they did not have the authentic Barberrry rice. Lol. Sorry, but yuck. It was sweet. Barberries and Sour cherries in Persian food is supposed to give it a subtle tartness. Not make the whole of the rice sweet and orange. The whole bill, for 5 people, was $90. Now, if it was an authentic Persian restaurant, you would have paid more. And it would have been worth it. I would not have paid $20 for this.Again. This is the worst, and only bad review I have given on Google reviews. And they deserved every word of it.

Food was delicious and ambiance was very nice on the outdoor patio! Our waitress kindly explained anything we had questions about and was great at checking in on us while also giving us time and space to enjoy our dinner with friends. I would come back just for dessert (maybe even by myself!) for some pomegranate mint chocolate chip ice cream

Food was cold, server was slow. She did take half off the bill. But it was my birthday and I would have preferred a great meal and awesome service. Money isn't everything, a great experience is!

Pesto Hummus was incredible to start. Rack of Lamb was delicious, not usually a fan of tomato but our server taught us the traditional method of blending with the rice to create a gravy and it was a great combo!

Pomegranate has been my favorite Greenville restaurant since first visiting the area over fourteen years ago. I introduced some friends to Pomegranate last night. They will be back! Always delicious food with unique, yet not overpowering flavors. Especially love the flatbread with mint leaves and the basmati saffron cranberry rice. Delicious !Parking: Very difficult to find parking close by. Dress appropriately to walk a distance from a parking ramp. Worth the walk, though.

Very unique place in Greenville. They cook their food on giant skewers over an open pit. Refreshing dishes that aren't heavy. Every table gets a Persian breakfast. It's a litte appetizer with bread, feta, mint and radishes. Lot of the dishes like the fresh Scottish salmon are marinated in pomegranate or lime juice. Some in a kind of walnut puree. Great place.

We went on a Wednesday night without a reservation and got seated immediately which was great. The atmosphere is so nice and relaxing! It was also half off wine bottles, so we got the bottle recommended for the entrees we got. The flavors of everything were amazing. We also got a duo starter, which comes with complimentary bread. Everything was wonderful and we ended up spending about $90 with the tip for two people!
