As always, the food was delicious. However, not as usual, the server was not up to standard. She was evidently new and inexperienced, so that is a caveat (though it is also an assumption). She was terse and unfriendly, though technically she did everything needed...just not in the warm, welcoming manner that we have come to expect at Pomegranate. No worries, however; we'll be back!

I had never eaten at a Persian restaurant before. It's very similar to Mediterranean. The food was good but not a lot of flavor. I had the tenderloin kebob and ground chuck kebob. My husband had a salmon wrap which he enjoyed. The creamed spinach appetizer was very good.

We had a table for six and were able to eat on their patio. (On line reservations said outside was not available) Our server had many good suggestions and was very patient helping us find wines we would enjoy. We were not rushed and had a wonderful time.

Wonderful date night! Wednesday 1/2 price bottle wine! Salmon ALWAYS delicious. Lamb medallions superb. Patio great. Window seat inside tonight fun people watching. Nancy's coconut pie delicious. A real treat. Always one of our favorites!! Ben was a great waiter. Charlie W

Chicken flavor was very good but slightly dry. Getting your waiter or waitress is difficult. They run past the tables so quickly and they don't stop at the table to check on you. The food is definitely worth coming back for!!!

A very enjoyable place to have lunch and one of our favorite places when we visit Greenville. Our server was friendly, helpful and polite. The starters were tasty including the humus and Mirza Ghasemi with homemade flatbread. The generous portions enable lunch the next day. The basmati rice with cherries, the grilled tomato were the perfect accompaniments to my chicken kebab. My husband enjoyed the tenderloin torsh kabob.

Went for the live music on a weeknight and it was great! Loved the ambiance it created on the patio. Food, as always, very good. Server accommodated our party of five at a table outside at the last minute which was much appreciated. Great little spot on Main!

We were seated on the patio without being informed that a vocalist would be playing. Between the singer and the noise from the street it was difficult to hear conversations with our table mates. Suggest that the host inform patrons when a vocalist is performing so they may ask to be seated elsewhere.

The food as always very good! The only concern is the dust and the dirty curtains behind the front desk, they need to replace it or clean it. Also the dust is on the surface under the curtains. So sorry but it looks like it hasn't been cleaned in months . Surprisingly today our server was slow picking up the dirty dishes, glasses and he just took the order and brought the food, didn't stop by to ask if we needed anything else

Our server Ben did a fantastic job giving us recommendations. As an appetizer we had the roasted red pepper hummus which was delicious. The mains Ben suggested were even better. Great atmosphere as well. We will definitely return.

When we travel from out of town to Greenville, we always make a point to visit Pomegranate. We had the fortune of having Hope as our server and she was the BEST!!! So personable. Please commend her. Can't wait to return!

Went for lunch and everything was delicious! We had the special chicken kabob and the avocado salad with a koobideh kabob added. The cranberry rice with the chicken kabob was so flavorful. We were quite surprised by the “traditional Persian breakfast” plate. It was quite delicious with the mint, butter, feta and radishes. I will definitely recommend this for meat eaters and vegetarians as well. Very diverse menu and a great wine list too!

We got hummus and an eggplant dip as starters which were amazing. All of the entrees were perfect and the ingredients tasted fresh. The sangria, recommended by our waiter, was lovely! Great service!

Very good scollops special according to my wife. I had the lamb medallions which were dry, too much rice and no vegetables included. I ordered a side of grilled vegetables but unfortunately they were burnt. The burnt flavor permeated the whole meal. Our waitresses was not very engaging and seemed to be in a hurry. She really didn't take the time to communicate the menu and sell us on anything. No offer of dessert. They did give us a complementary glass of champagne for our wedding anniversary, which was very nice of them. Overall a ok experience but I expected more of an experience for the money. Probably wouldn't recommend them to anyone for a special occasion but maybe for a quick lunch or dinner. Our waitress seemed very pre preoccupied and may have lacked experience. I might consider giving it a second chance.
