It's Dad

As a dad with a penchant for corny jokes and a love for cheese, I couldn't resist sharing my corn-ucopia of experiences at Puerto Vallarta in Greenville, SC. Brace yourself for a cheesy adventure! From the moment we stepped into this establishment, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The vibrant colors and lively Mexican music instantly transported us south of the border (harder to get south of the border than it is to get north) was as if we had stumbled upon a hidden fiesta in the heart of Greenville! Now, let's taco 'bout the food! The menu at Puerto Vallara was a gastronomic delight. We started with their famous corn chips and salsa, which were so addictive, we couldn't stop munching on them. The queso dip was like a melty blanket of cheesy goodness that made us say, "Holy Guacamole!" And speaking of guacamole, their homemade version was a creamy dream come true. It was so good, it made us avocado-addicts!The main course was a fiesta for our taste buds. The fajitas were sizzling with flavor, and the chicken enchiladas were a cheesy sensation. And let's not forget about their signature dish, the chimichanga. It was a deep-fried delight that left us feeling like we had hit the food jackpot. The portions were generous, ensuring that no one left the table hungry. It's safe to say that Puerto Vallara knows how to satisfy even the pickiest eaters. But wait, there's "mole"! The ambiance at Puerto Vallarta was as delightful as the food. The restaurant was adorned with colorful sombreros, maracas, and even a piñata or two. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel like part of the family. And let's not forget the margaritas! They were the perfect accompaniment to our Mexican feast, and we may have had one or two... or three!Grab your sombrero and head on over to Puerto Vallara a corn-ucopia of fun and flavor. Ole!

Large restaurant, great for large parties. Service was spot on although it wasn't extremely busy. They start you with a basket of fresh chips and a creamy bean dip. They have a salsa bar so you can choose your level of heat. The food came out hot. I had their chili poblano lunch special. I love the milder flavor of these peppers along with the melted cheese inside. The do put a breading and fry them but it leaves the breading mushy. If they could change that breading or air fry it or plunge it quickly in a deep fryer, to crisp it up, it would be awesome. My dish was served with refried beans and rice. The hubby had the lunch Texas fajitas that came with tortillas, beans and rice and toppings of guac, pico , etc. He liked the meal and it was a lot for a lunch portion. He didn't finish the beans or rice.Prices are in line with other Mexican restaurants, actually you get more on their lunch options than other places. Wish they were closer but a good option when we are o in that area.

The server was awkward and came off as very rude. The food was bland and frankly gross. The price was fine. There are many Mexican restaurants in the Greenville area. Choose any of the others. Don't go here.

Cool looking place! Great waiter, however, the dish I ordered was beef and mushroom nachos. They opened a can of mushrooms and dumped it on top..gross! Not fresh? Won't be back!

The food was just not good.I'm a truck driver, which means that I very often eat very low quality food, and I dont mind eating it. Plus, I love Mexican food, but I have to be honest about this place: there is a lot to improve here.

I eat there several times a week for lunch, the food and the service are excellent but the only fly in the ointment is checkout, the manager doodles on his phone or talks on it while you stand there waiting to pay, his demeanor says your time don't mean s__t to him, other than that it's great though
