I remember around 15 years ago, we used to go to a Salvadorian place to eat pupusas and i never found another place like that, until now. The memories came back to me as if it was yesterday. We ordered pupusas, combined, beans with cheese and loroco, along woth caldo de res and flan which all of it was delicious. In general everything tasted delicious. They also sell sweet bread, from which I bought a concha. Everything was yummy!
All I get is Pupusas. I been going before the previous owners separated. From what I understand, their daughter took over. Pupusas can be a hit or miss with being thin, too much “breading” or not stuffed. The biggest issue is their stinginess with the sauce and cabbage for takeout. No matter how many times I tell them to put extra, I’ll get there and they haven’t. They’ll give the same amount of those no matter how much pupusas I order. I generally order on average 9...
Was visiting Greenville for the first time and happened to pick this place as I had a craving for pupusas just before the hurricane hit. Picked up two - one jalapeño and one cheese. They were great! What made it really outstanding was the pineapple dessert I impulse purchased on my way out! It was creamy and perfect and made it so I could handle all the spice of the pupusa, then end the night perfectly comfortable and satisfied.
