Don’t fall for all the hype. This restaurant is not special. The dishes are not authentic and I have tasted far better veal scallopini. Served with limited mushrooms and sauce (sauce was on the bland side). Only enough sauce for one piece of veal. The other two pieces I had to take home because there was not any mushrooms or sauce left to eat with it. Not that I would have eaten them anyway. Other Italian restaurants in the area are much better. Carrabba’s Italian Grill is better. And that’s a chain restaurant! On a sidenote, the chef walks around all night in the restaurant so he’s obviously not cooking, or checking the dishes before they’re served. And his wife is running around on some power trip telling people when she feels it’s time for them to move on because she needs to reseat their table. Whether they’re finished with their dining experience or not. A complete disaster and a waste of time. Should’ve stayed home and saved my $260. You expect a lot more when you drop that amount of money. It might’ve been a great place to eat at one time, but now they’re existing off of an old reputation that they definitely do not live up to. So again, I say to you, don’t fall for the hype. Move along folks, nothing special to experience here.

The food was delicious and the service was superb. The only downside, and it's no fault of the restaurant, there was a very loud birthday party in the restaurant...so loud, in fact, that it made conversation between my husband and I nearly impossible.
This was our first visit to Ristorante Bergamo and it exceeded our expectations. From the warm and prompt greeting, to the ambiance of the restaurant, our server, the food and wine....just amazing. Incredible wine list as well. Then the food which was presented well, cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. Make sure to save something for dessert. We can't wait to go back.
Our favorite Italian restaurant in Greenville. The service, ambiance, and the quality of the food are consistently excellent. We had the clams for an appetizer followed by Caesar salads. Veal and pasta dishes were next. No need to look elsewhere if you are craving Italian food.

Great atmosphere! While you heard friendly chatter, it was a great background to a fantastic meal. Listen to your waitstaff. If you like the ingredients, order it! You cannot go wrong. Wonderful!
Wonderful service! Table ready as soon as we walked in. Our server was great! All of our food selections were so good. My daughter's dish was even custom made at the suggestion of the waiter. Desserts were great and a nice touch bring our daughter's with a candle as we were celebrating her birthday. We were here in Dec for a work event and glad we could come back!
Excellent selection of appetizers, salads, and entrees made with the freshest quality ingredients. Wait staff is extremely attentive to details. We always have a wonderful experience at Ristorante Bergamot.

Amazing post valentines dinner at Bergamo last night. It is our favorite restaurant and as always everything was delicious! I had the heart shaped raviolis and my husband had shrimp in brandy cream sauce, started with the most amazing bruschetta on the planet and ended with a delicious profiterole for dessert. In my opinion this is the best restaurant in Greenville.
