Rita’s has gone down over the years and I’ve been with them since their start on E North St. We stopped in tonight because it was close to our destination (mistake) and their custard machine was down. Ordered basic Italian ice instead which was fine. The owner was there trying to fix it himself and wasn’t friendly in the least. Take your business $$$ to Jeremiah’s - always! Unlike Rita’s, the employees aren’t utterly miserable, the atmosphere isn’t ick, and they do whatever to make it right with the customer. This Ritas ice will be lucky to last another year and with good reason.

Went tonight and the two boys working the drive through were so nice! Ice cream sundae and blendini were so yummy! Shame they only take cash tips. I didn’t have any on me! Will definitely remember for next time! Thank you guys for being so nice!

The apple pie mixer was great on a 95 degree day!? I'll have to make another trip as there's others items that looked just as good, would recommend!

They need to hire more people still there patiently for 10 minutes with only one person in front of me and she was currently making the drive-through person there’s and moved on to the couple in front of me but While making theirs, someone came in the drive-through, she asked them to hold on then she finally finished with the couple They only ordered two things. Looks at me after I’ve been waiting for 10 minutes and says she’ll be with me in just a moment and proceeded to take the order in the drive-thru Instead of getting mine when I had been there a lot longer than the car in the drive-thru!! the car in the drive-thru was there not even two minutes compared to the 10 mins I waited That’s not right you take customers First come first serve all I wanted was strawberry Italian ice people in the drive-thru ordered a lot and she was going to do theirs before me so I left Never had this problem in the past, but that was ridiculous they need to hire more people and teach them better

The only negative thing I can say is this. Why don't we have one in Travelers Rest? If I'm not mistaken, the owner lives out this way. None the less this is one of the very few places that has been around for a while. That alone speaks volumes not only about the service, Italian Ice, and the establishment itself. The employees are always young yet very polite and customer oriented. As long as they stay open, I'll keep going back.

The customer service here was great! I was greeted by a tall, slender, young man wearing glasses (sorry, I didn't catch his name) and he was VERY pleasant and kind, which is quite rare these days! I got the Grape (add nerds to it!) and Strawberry Italian Blend, and both were tasty!

Love bringing the kids here most of the time… but today 7/28 was terrible (and have been having service issues more often). Went through drive thru and got a quick “be with you in just a moment”… waited 20 minutes as the only car in line with no answer so we just left. Totally unacceptable

Been going to rita since they open. Used to buy it in the frozen section in the grocery store, but there's nothing that can compare to the actual store.. I will suggest if you go with more than 1 person to go ahead and get a quart. Because if you get too smalls, it'll run you about $6-7. When you can get a quart for 8 bucks and then have a lot more to share. One of my favorites summer and even winter spots

not too crazy about this place , first time visiting here and all the items we originally wanted they didnt have so we had to settle with what they had available which sucks , kids had regular cones and i had a cotton candy icee and it was straight diabetes in a cup , kids that work here are not very helpful whatsoever and the experience just sucked , place is waaaay to small too
