First contact was friendly and courteous! Everyone in the food line was very personable and pleasant. That's where service and quality ended. Unfortunately the food was horrible!! My aunt's chicken was undercooked then the replacement piece was overcooked. The dressing was over seasoned and undercooked, The tossed salad was bland, even the onions had no taste the overall experience was extremely disappointing. I wanted my roast beef a little more cooked and the waitress forgot about me! I had eaten all of my sides before the first plate came out, undercooked for me, the second plate was almost dry, and the au jus saved it. The deserts were blah and not very good. I used to frequent this restaurant often, the quality is definitely not the same. I would not recommend.

The food is very sub-par , you only get one piece of chicken when choosing dark meat or white meat. The yams are not “ yams “ they are just sliced sweet potato , no cinnamon, no sugar , no honey - nothing. The customer service is great however so that makes up for the food I guess lol, I love that it has a to go and dine in area so you don’t have to go in where people are dining if you don’t want to. The pecan pie , and egg custard pie were both absolutely disgusting , but I think the customer service made me really love that little place.

Usually the food is okay however I got the baked spaghetti on 7/10/25 from takeout it was over baked, and dry. I took a small bite and could not eat it. Not tasty at all and looked liked it had been served before and warmed again. My husband would not let me take it back.

My sister and I had lunch at S&S Cafeteria on Tuesday, July 8th. Everyone there, from the servers on the line, to the lady printing up the tab, wait staff, manager & cashier were wonderful! Smiling faces, great sunny attitudes, cutting up with the regulars & each other…it was a great experience. Food was incredible and portions were generous. I would like to mention some names to give these folks recognition… Tara, who tallied up the meal, Jennifer, Carly & Kerrie who were the wait staff, Adrian, who checked us out at the end and Kathy, who was the manager. All these folks were wonderful!

We eat here often. The food and service are always very good. We have never had a problem. Two weeks ago the food was exceptional. We came today and had a very bad experience. I can only assume that there are people in the kitchen that are new. It will be quite awhile before we come back to S&S.
