Took my american friend there yesterday to try Colombian food for the first time, she ordered chicken becuase she does not eat red meat.. they brought her red meat and refused to take the plate back or make it right .. they told us we wouldd have no order an other plate if she wanted the chicken... terrible service.. Will never go back here

love this place and the food is always fantastic. we have always had a problem with the lack of lights in the higher dining room section and often see others using their phone flashlights to see as well, alongside the awkwardly positioned and sized tables (especially for parties larger than 3). despite this i haven't felt the need to leave a review until tonight because our waitress had a terrible attitude. we asked for a larger cup or bowl of aji for our chiccharones and was met with a defensive response, and then the waitress ignored us for the rest of the evening. despite glares and purposefully eye contact, we didnt see our waitress from the time we ordered our food to the time we had to call to her to get our check. our waitress had a larger party she was serving, but was doing just fine with every other smaller party around us. we had a similar experience last time we came and it really puts down the quality of the food and atmosphere when everybody is upset about service.

Everything was great.. up until it was time to pay. Me and my buddy split the check... Unfortunately I never got my change back. Paid under 10.00 for my meal. Gave a 20.00 was waiting for my change instead the young waitress jumped back on her phone and started video chatting... Figured she may need the extra 5 more than me so I said to hell with it... Other than that the food was amazing.

Yesterday I went in and bought empanadas to go. While me and my fiancée were there, I ate one, and the worst part is that the empanada was super cold on the inside but very hot on the outside. I immediately spit it out and told the bartender, who then had to warm them up again. Now this morning I woke up with severe food poisoning. This is absolutely ridiculous I’ve never had food poisoning in my life, and I would never expect something like this from your establishment. Your kitchen team clearly needs better training and food-safety oversight. On top of dealing with being sick, I want to make it very clear that serving improperly heated food poses a serious health risk, and businesses can be held accountable when they fail to meet basic food-handling and safety standards. I’m hoping you take this matter seriously before it escalates further, because this kind of negligence is unacceptable.
Excellent food and service. The menu can be a little overwhelming with so many options, but everything I've tried has been excellent. Great value for the large portions. Looking forward to going back and trying something new.

the food is really good at affordable prices. I really enjoyed the stuffed arepas 🫓 and the bowls (arrachera and paisa). their coconut lemonade is great, too! The downside: service is slow and the empanadas are not as good compared to other Colombian joints in Greenville.
