The food is amazing and it’s the perfect little place, that feels like a hidden gem. It’s nothing fancy inside, but the owners are very kind. The pho is “pho”nomenal and the pad Thai has the traditional Thai flavors!

Interior is outdated and grimy, sticky, messy, and a little gross. But all is forgiven because the couple who run the place are fantastic. And the food is so fire. Everything is delicious.

I always wanted to try this place because I like pho but my favorite place has been closed. When we were there, there wasn't any other customers. I quickly realized why. The restaurant has a greasy stench in the air. The seats were dirty with food crumbs. We were the first customers of that day. The owner was friendly. My pho was so-so, a bit too salty and not warm/hot enough for my liking. My wife liked her food so we're my daughters. They ordered fried noodles. Their prices are high for the atmosphere. I am not sure if we will go back.

This is undoubtedly the best viatnemese/thai food you can find in Greenville. The restaurant is (usually) a two person operation serving food for the soul, not just the body. It just tastes so good, i can’t recommend it enough.

Really good pho. The tendon is especially great (if you like tendon); they give you a lot! Bahn mi was okay but bread was soft; I prefer a crunchier baguette.

They used to have a massive menu (as thick as a bible) with a plethora of options. There menu is now reduced to a single peice of paper.

I was coming back from Furman University, and excited that I could stop at the Saigon restaurant on my way home as I love Vietnamese food and I had good food at this restaurant previously.I placed my order and was a little stunned at the amount charged, so I asked for an itemized receipt. There was a menu under the glass of one of the tables and I compared my receipt with the prices listed on this menu. I noticed that there was a dollar and two dollar extra charge on each and every one of my dishes. When I ask the proprietor why there was a difference in the price from my receipt and the menu, she pointed to the bottom of the menu that stated $1 for takeout .Again, this is not one dollar total per order. This is one dollar to two dollars on each item.So dishes that were listed at $10.99 were charged at $12.99, a dish listed at $11.99 was charged $13.99 and $14.99 for an order of Fried rice!!!; also there was a $1.00 extra charge on each order of spring rolls. So the extra charge for takeout came to $8 !!Not the $1 extra stated on the menu for take out, which baffles me as those who dined in were given take out boxes for their leftovers…Heavy hand on the scale. I don’t like to get ripped off like this. And though the food was good it was spoiled by this heavy handedness.I will sadly not return to Saigon restaurant and hope Mekong restaurant reopens soon.
