I went to Scoundrel and sat at the bar for my birthday and the experience was unmatched. Lauren at the bar provided such good service, conversation, and all over energy that just made my birthday one to remember. (Not to mention how insanely good the food and drink was) 10/10 experience.

Reservation was at 7:30 just now leaving at 10:30. Was not blown away by the food. Ordered the bread, steak tartare, and steak frites. Over priced and over rated IMO.I eat downtown often and will probably not be back!

Visiting from Portland, Or. Excellent dining experience! For starters we had the Salad Of Chilled Chicories and the Caesar as well. Both were lovely. Our main choice was the Chicken Persillade…Sooo moist and tender! I’m so glad we ordered the baguette to sop up the yummy sauce. We also had a side of the sautéed mushrooms which did not disappoint. Reserve your table with confidence! My only little tiny recommendation is because the bathrooms are non-gender specific maybe place a sign to remind standers to raise the seat for sitters. I used the toilet after a gent and upon entering, I had to actually wash the seat as it was a MESS! I don’t mind lowering the seat at all, but it is in poor form standers to not lift the seat for the sitters in public non gender restrooms.

We had an exceptional meal at Scoundrel. Massive thanks and respect to the kitchen. Big thanks to Taylor for facilitating the experience. Classic French cuisine with noticeable chef-driven elements took the traditional dishes to an 11. The yellowfin tuna hors d'oeuvre was bonkers delish. The trout main course was stellar - very thinly sliced cauliflower, prepped with such care and attn to detail, nearly disguised itself as shaved parmesan. Those details matter and were very appreciated. Also had the duck which was handled perfectly - the savory, fatty poultry was enhanced and balanced so well with the beets' sweetness. Wine program was wonderful. The refreshing fruit forward gewurztraminer made for an excellent pairing along side the tuna. We moved into a pour of the St Emillion to finish the duck and trout. How can you not have a French classic when enjoying this cuisine? Merci beaucoup to the chef, kitchen, and FOH staff for a very memorable meal. Highly recommended!

We arrived for 8:15 reservation but didn’t actually eat until 9:45ish. They did get us a drink while we waited and we did end up getting a booth. Server was really good so taking off a star was just for the initial experience and speed to get our food. I also was a bit surprised that non-alcoholic drinks were not free refill. I had an iced tea that was 80% ice. The food was good. Had the bread with pasta off the appetizers and then trout and a burger for dinner. Overall not a bad experience, something I’d only do for a special occasion.

Phenomenal restaurant and experience. You have to try the bread with onion butter while drinking a dark beer. It’s heavenly. Each drink, appetizer, main dish and dessert were wonderful. Budget accordingly.
