This place is fun, even for an old guy like me! You really can't go wrong with live music—well, unless you happen to catch the band I saw the night I went. But hey, everyone can't sound like Ozzy. The drinks were cheap; I didn't track the exact price, but two drinks were under $10, so you make the call on the value there. I could easily see this spot busting at the seams when the right band is playing. While it definitely attracts a younger crowd, an old guy like myself fit right in. I have no idea about the food, but I recommend giving it a shot. Have fun, and catch you sometime!

The overall staff is very friendly and professional however, the female bartender that was covered in sparkles last Saturday night was the most rudest obnoxious nastiest human being I've ever come across in a Bar . She went out of her way to be rude to everyone. This is a local bar with live music and it should be packed but this woman is the main reason why people leave . I felt bad for the male bartender that was on duty that night because nobody wanted to tip because he had to share his tips with her .

I moved to Greenville a few months ago and Sharkys easily became one of my favorite late night places to be! All of the staff are remarkable from the bouncers to the bartenders, they truly make Greenville feel like home. Especially Cass, I call her my alter ego, she’s amazing!! Each one of them make me feel safe and welcomed every time without a doubt.

I don’t expect top tier service from a local downtown pub but I also do not expect to be completely disrespected and verbally berated by the bartender. Some pink haired bartender was so blatantly rude to multiple patrons who were simply trying to order a drink, and it was completely uncalled for. After being yelled at, for no reason other than trying to order a round of drinks, I went to the other end of the bar. I sat back and watched the bartender throw a fit all night, screaming at bar guests and refuse service and just take shots behind the bar. Ruined my night and pretty much anyone else’s who crossed paths with her.
Came in last night to unwind from the week. Everything was good right up until 1:35am. I was waiting on my tab from the bartender when a younger male staff member came over and started yelling aggressively for all of us to get out NOW.. I told him, we are all waiting on our tabs to sign them and close out, that he needed to either help the bar staff to get us all cashed out or chill. He just continued to walk around puffing his chest out like he was ready to fight all of us, when we were all waiting to cash out. Very weird and uninviting behavior. I wont come back there for anymore unwinding. Bar staff and dj was cool, but whoever that young guy was, needs to find a new hobby, cause he's dangerously aggressive and seems like he wants to incite issues and negative responses!!

Oh my, the diviest of dive bars. The unfaltering stench of pure bo upon entering is only surpassed by the flowing aroma of human urine and rodent feces in the bathroom. But they have drinks, so yay for that.
