I eat here every time I am in GSP. (Which happens to be about once a week) My server, I believe her name was April- Amazing!! I had the tuna, 1/2 raw oysters and a dozen clams. All EXCEPTIONAL AND quite tasty. Love the outside patio. SS is definitely one of my faves!!! A++ *Chef’s Kiss 😘
Good snow crabs, and good people
I love it here. I go here at least once every week. The atmosphere is great, the food is awesome, especially what I get: the blackened shrimp fettuccine Alfredo and the cold crab dip. I love the manager Angie(Angela) n crew.
Nice atmosphere 👌
I love this place! If you want a good low country boil go here. Also, Cole the bartender gave us some of the best service I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!
Food was good, however a lot of the items were out this particular night.
This was the by BEST experience me and my husband had ever had. All the way down from my waitress Riana she was the best, very nice, respectful, outgoing, she was a 10/10. However, the restaurant OMG! The food was phenomenal, hot fresh and consistently coming as we ordered. I would definitely come back to this place again. We came all the way from Statesboro Ga, for the experience. Although, we already in town I’m very glad we stopped by for the experience.
I love this place! We went there for my 50th birthday celebration tonight.
It was the first time I've visited, and it definitely won't be the last. The food is great, and there's a ton of it; the atmosphere is very reminiscent of the beach (no, that's a good thing! There's no sand, or seagulls, or THAT guy - you know the one); and our server, Calvin, was very helpful, attentive, and funny.
The food took longer than the staff would've liked to come out, so they did a little extra - completely above and beyond, because we know how busy they must've been at 7:30 on a Saturday night - which was very much appreciated.
The staff at The Shuckin' Shack certainly knows how to treat its customers. we'll be back!
We're still newer to the city via the Low Country and have missed our local spot for oyster po'boys. Well, this place has certainly filled the gap!
We started with the seafood trio, which was lovely, but the crab dip was the star of the show!
That sandwich, though! Fresh shredded lettuce, thick tomatoes, and loads of oysters! Top it with the side of coleslaw and some pepper sauce ... Buckle up!

The waitress was phenomenal! She took time to answer our questions. She served the 11 of us and the rest of the restaurant with a smile and the best attitude ever. The food was hot. The crab legs and fried oysters were salty.

My first visit to this place. Overall it was good. The staff was semi friendly. Better to interact with customers than to be on your phone, but to each their own. Clean overall. The food was served hot. Fried pickles and burger were good. I'd go back. I need to try the oysters next!

The seafood was superb. Service is good, but definitely a ballgame place! Mostly guys at the bar with large screen TV’s. Atmosphere not for me.
