On our way into town from Charlotte, my better half and I found ourselves with a hankering for some real BBQ. So glad we found Smokey Dream’s listing on Google. We enjoyed their delicious, tender barbecue served up with some really great in-house sauces, all at affordable prices. Throughout our meal we received great service by the super friendly, down-to-earth staff. If you’re in the Greenville area and looking for an authentic barbecue experience, skip the chain restaurants and stop by Smoky Dreams. You won’t be sorry. PS - Save some room, because the peanut-butter chocolate whipped pie was amazing.

Smoky Dreams is THE place to go in the entire Greenville area for BBQ! I’m originally from Texas so I’m super picky about my BBQ and it’s the only place we’ll go around here! The Ribs and brisket are full of flavor and you can’t beat the sides (the sweet potato casserole is seriously from heaven)! Service is always so welcoming and friendly. Definitely a MUST in Greenville!

I got here for lunch. Got the pulled pork sandwich plate with beans and mac and cheese and the brisket plate with loaded potato salad and mac and cheese. The brisket did not have any seasoning on it. It tasted of good beef taste and flavor but I did not taste any seasoning so it felt lacking in that regard. It was borderline flavorless. The mac and cheese was the same. Little to no flavor. The loads potato salad had flavor but the thimble size amount they give for a .75 upcharge is ridiculous, preposterous, and insulting. All of the sides were too small tbh. It's your cheapest cost items. The pulled pork packed seasoning as well and needed sauce. This place is very highly rated and I'm confused by it. $20 brisket plate. No way would I come back for that price and the way it taste. For that price I can go to cookout and get 3 cookout trays with the BBQ sandwich with sides.
