We found their pricing to be reasonable, they were helpful in crafting the menu, arrived on time and set up the food professionally. They were very responsive throughout the process. Southern Way Catering was amazing! Working with Alexis was smooth and easy. On the wedding day, she wasn't able to be there (she let us know) and Brandon and the team came. Just as smooth! The food was delicious, as good as at the tasting. The staff was wonderful! They were having a good time and it meant everyone had a good time. No waits for food, drinks, clearing (many commented that as soon as something was finished, it was promptly and politely picked up). The passed hors d'oeuvres were plentiful and served quickly. They even brought some up for the family/wedding party on the green where we were doing pictures. They did an amazing job cleaning up too. They packed up all the leftover food for us. We had planned on using another caterer but after their tasting, we knew we needed a new one. Southern Way and Alexis made the process so easy and she had a quick and great response to all our questions (and there were many). They handled food, drinks and linens/rentals for us. Overall, I would give them more than 5 stars! The wedding was a great celebration/party and Southern Way was a huge part of the success! Book them!

I recently had a surprise 60th birthday party for my wife. Alexis and her team at Southern Way were amazing. From menu planning, coordination, set-up, service and food, everything was meticulously planned and executed. Southern Way is a full-service operation…including everything from passed Hors d'oeuvres to carving stations and they even supplied the bartender! I literally had nothing to do but show up! Southern Way is on my very short list of professional catering firms and party planners! I highly recommend Alexis and her team. You won’t be disappointed!

I can't say enough good things about Jennifer and the team at Southern Way. She was so so great helping us select the PERFECT menu in budget for our wedding and we got so many compliments from guests how awesome the food was. Through the process from start to finish, Jennifer was so accommodating, made sure the menu was allergy free (we have a peanut allergy) and had great recommendations when we weren't sure the best option. The available menu is everything you could want and since they do seasonal updates, everything is always SO freash.

Southern Way Catering has been delicious for the Clemson football suites ! The employees are helpful , courteous and fun . Also , have had the pleasure of attending a few events in which Southern Way catered the food . It was set up beautifully and tasted great! Looking into using them for a wedding shower.

They made the expereince amazing and I can't reccomend them enough. The food is great and the service is even better.

Big kudos to this company and staff. I called them 2-3 weeks before my event and they took my order. We had our own menu planned . They worked with us to prepare it the day before and we would pick it up. Then the Sept 2024 storm hit and we thought all was lost. However, they had power and my menu was completed on the day of pick up. We didn't have power and they offered to keep it in their fridge for us til the day of the party. Again another Big kudos to the chef and his staff. The food was good. They worked with our budget and made changes without any issues. PS I do not give 5 stars due to fake reviews.

I am so excited to write this review to brag on Lauren Riehle and her team at The Southern Way from the bottom of our hearts. The food was FANTASTIC! We have been told by many of our guests that cocktail hour was so amazing they didn't want to head up the hill to the reception which I think drove our planner crazy, but they said the charcuterie board was absolutely amazing! We can't wait to see pictures :) Many guests also bragged about how they would set a glass down and turn around and it had already been picked up by one of the team members. We were so pleased with the menu - I truly couldn't pick a favorite! We are so thrilled with everything from start to finish and just wanted to write this review to publicly brag on The Southern Way and say thank you for everything you and your team did to make our day special!

They had extensive menus to choose from, so you could find exactly what you wanted to serve! The food we ordered was well prepared, tasty, hot, fresh and exactly what we were hoping for. Choosing Southern Way Catering for our wedding was one of our best decisions. They exceeded our expectations with exceptional food and service. Our sales rep, Tori, was terrific. She visited the venue to preview everything and help us plan the flow. A big plus is their menu full of variety, and they offer a selection of foods that are not Southern despite their name — lots of fresh vegetables and fruits, fresh fish, and thoughtful and interesting hor d'oeuvres. We plan on hiring them for a dinner party soon.
