I really liked this brewery! You just scan the menu at your table and they bring food and drinks right to you – super easy and chill.
They also have a mini arcade and a bowling alley, which was such a fun surprise. I had a great time drinking and bowling – definitely a fun night!
It’s basically a playground for grown-ups (but kid-friendly and pet-friendly enough for the whole fam).
Our walking group often stops at Southernside Brewing after a walk from Unity Park to and from Downtown GVL. My friends like their beers 🍻 and other drinks 🍸 .
The food tastes great, and they have really huge mozzarella sticks!!
The group enjoys the fries, both regular and sweet potato, here - generous portions!
They really go all out with holiday decorations, too!!
One of our favorite go-to places ❤️!
Great staff and great beer! Lots of space too.
We had high hopes for this place…great atmosphere and service but the food was not so great. The fried pickles let me down because they use cornichons. There was barely any salad dressing in the salad. On the contrary, I got a summer cocktail with way too much mint- undrinkable (pictured).
I've been to breweries allover the world and this one is excellent for families young and old. Great location and lots of seating and options for fun! Great beers ( love the hazy IPA ) and solid food..wings were excellent and so were the fried pickles 😀.
Food and drinks were good! Service sub par. 20% Tip for ordering at bar instead of using QR code system felt more like a penalty considering we were also expected to return to the bar to pick up our food. But we accepted that when we chose to order at the bar.
That said, it felt a bit tasteless to ask for additional tip when paying the bill. Undecided if we will return or recommend.
We perform for their Father's Day Weekend Luau each year. Great atmosphere and location. Lots of seating, good food, and the venue is connected to a really cool walking trail. We love performing for Southernside. Staff was friendly and the performance set up was easy. Management was great to work with. Looking forward to our performance next year.
Cute place with a great menu and fun vibes. Right next to the park. Fun way to unwind on the weekends.
If I could give you all one hundred stars, I would. A huge shout-out goes to Jenny Gurchak, who promptly assisted me via email with a Q&A from the moment I inquired about the venue. The cooks, waitresses, and bar staff were all excellent. We had a party of 50 and used the social area; we were treated superbly. If there were any issues, we let the server know, and everything was kindly corrected. My husband and I visited every Sunday until my dad's 70th birthday party to ensure we were happy with everything. My dad said it was one of the best birthdays he's had, and he enjoyed the beer. Southernside Brewing, keep up the fantastic work—you were all awesome!
The beers, burger, and service were all above average. Just nothing that really makes me want to go back necessarily.

My husband ordered chicken tenders but got chicken wings. After bringing it to their attention..they didn't do anything to correct it!!
Beer has been better in the past. Disappointed with all 3 IPAs on tap. Great bar service and outdoor yard space
The weather was absolutely fantastic—just like a perfect spring day! It really brought everyone out, especially to Unity Park and the surrounding area. Finding a parking spot on Saturday was a little tricky, but honestly, it was so worth it! I had the best time soaking in the live music and sipping on some tasty beers at Southernside Brewing Co. I have to say, my favorite drink was the Bodak seltzer—it was so delicious!
The Greek Chicken salad is great! Best dog friendly restaurant on the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Food comes out quick even when they’re busy. Love it here ❤️
Solid brewery! Had two lighter style beers while here; both were enjoyable enough. Nothing blew my socks off but nothing was bad either. Space is nice and gives off big crowd party vibes; not truly my thing, but to each their own. The chicken tenders were reasonably tasty and for $8 a good price. Fries look very plain but packed more flavor than expected. A good brewery to hit if you’re doing a self-designed brewery trail through Greenville.
