I grew up in Mexico, and everywhere I travel I’m searching for the taste of home. Sadly, most Mexican restaurants in the US, even those with Mexican cooks, cater to an American palate. They invent foods unknown south of the border and utilize ingredients that are not part of the our cuisine. Not these folks. Their food catapults me to my childhood. What a gem of a place!
