While staying at the Westin Poinset as a large group for work, we mustered here each morning for breakfast. We all have status with Bonvoy and got free breakfast here each morning, which was actually pretty good!
The service was helpful and friendly. They also have a decent breakfast buffet which had fresh and tasty items on it. I did order from the menu one morning and it was decent, but my omelette was slightly over-cooked (I don’t like brown on my eggs).

The venue is beautiful and a great place to start the day. It’s a great deal for free! But if I had to pay for breakfast, I’d

Really cool restaurant in the Poinsett. It is still themed like it was in the 1920's. Cool theme, great service, good food. All around great experience.

Went here for Saturday High Tea to celebrate my daughter’s birthday (and upcoming baby’s birth!) and the experience could not have been better. The wide selection of teas, combined with incredible baked goods - the scones were some of the best I’ve ever had! - and the great service made it an afternoon to remember.I’d strongly recommend their High Tea for anyone looking for a relaxing, elegant time.

We took a large group to The Spoonbread and we had many compliments from our group about what a delightful experience it was. Food, Service and atmosphere. We were welcomed by Mary at the entrance, seated at the prearranged time and were all very pleased. Thank you and see you next time!

I would give these place 3 stars but bumped it up to 4 stars because of the amazing service. All of the staff were very friendly and nice. I believe our waitress name was Aubrey and she did a fantastic job. The food wasn’t anything special but good. Overall not a spot I would recommend but it’s an option.

A group of eight ladies from our Sunday school decided to celebrate Christmas here with high tea. Mary who manages the dining room did a fabulous job of tailoring our wishes for tea, sandwiches, desserts, scones and other goodies. We had such a lovely time despite the nasty day outside. And they even had a nice giveaway prize for the hostess. You can tell they are proud of their work and want to host more tea parties in the future. It was a pleasant afternoon out!

Ms. Mary (Catering Manager) and her staff gave us the very best high tea experience. A wonderful array of exceptional finger sandwiches, desserts and teas. A must when you visit Greenville, SC. A definite do-over for us, year after year.

My wife and I visited Spoonbread at the Westin for Sunday breakfast. I had the breakfast buffet and. She had the omelette with everything. Everything was good…the fresh breakfast potatoes especially good. Josh was a professional server and made the experience a great one!

We had a ladies birthday luncheon for our wonderful JAZZERCISE director at Spoonbread. From the moment we arrived at the front door, the staff at the Westin Hotel/Spoonbread Restaurant were amazing! The Manager and servers couldn’t do enough to take care of our party. They were fast, efficient and extremely pleasant❤️

Excellent service and food. Delightful breakfast cooked just as ordered! Love the fact they use tablecloths and cloth napkins. The wait staff were prompt and attentive but not over annoying. There was also a great looking breakfast buffet if one had a big appetite. We also ate at the bar and had great corn chowder soup one evening. It is nice to sit and listen to the piano bar while eating. Would absolutely recommend this place to friends.

While it’s not advertised, the Poinsett Spoonbread Restaurant is a delightful place to have Afternoon Tea. The tea stand was full a delicious delicacies and the service was impeccable. Mary & Sybil were very attentive. They made our tea special.

My husband and I made reservations to try the High Tea for the occasion of our anniversary. When we arrived the table was already set for us. The presentation was lovely and the food delectable. Furthermore, Ms. Disparano went out of her way to make our visit extra special. I would definitely recommend this experience to others. I only wish I had tried it sooner.

We held a Bridesmaid’s Luncheon here in September 2023 and could not have had a lovelier event. Dealing with Mary long distance was easy as she was responsive and readily accommodated our wishes. She developed a menu of just our choices and the food was outstanding. Cindy was an attentive and friendly server and everyone felt special. Once I spoke with Mary, the event was almost effortless. And the bride was so happy!

One of my favorite things to do during the holidays is have a holiday tea with my mom (and some times a few friends). To my knowledge, this is the ONLY place in Greenville that offers such a thing. A huge bonus is not are they just the only choice-they are a SPECIAL choice and one of the best experiences we’ve ever had at afternoon tea. The hotel is decorated spectacular, the food is fun and festive and the service is fantastic. Highly recommend you try this fun, unique holiday festivity.
