Always a great team here and much appreciated. Stopped in at 5am for a large order that I placed on the way in and even though it was early the team did it with a smile and weren't rude at all. Thank you for keeping me alive today.
This location would be perfect if getting into the Starbucks when heading out of downtown towards Pickens/TR was easier. LOL

A lot has changed in 2 years (when I thought everything was so nice and gave 5 stars). The manager is nice and engages with us. The staff treat us like they have never seen us before. If they make a mistake , there is no “sorry”. There is no “hello, how are you”. The employees never smile. It’s a lot like going to a MacDonalds where no customer expects to feel appreciated. Yet, there is the pop up on my phone asking that I add a tip. For what, exceptional service?

I use to enjoy going to this SB location when I first settled in Greenville. Now, it's a urban shelter haven for the (HOMELESS). (The HOMELESS definitely need to find a real shelter which is NOT Starbucks!). It's like their encroachment for the business and customers who want to enjoy the atmosphere and comfort.They all loiter in front or inside the building. They don't buy anything, not even a coffee?? Just take up the tables with their own drinks and food and corners using the free wi-fi and use the bathrooms. (God knows what their doing in there?? Taking a birdbath!) I was so grossed out as well as there was a homeless person in the corner using the wi-fi who kept coughing and coughing and coughing. No concern or respect to others nearby?? He wasn't even wearing a mask and just kept continuing on with his disturbing coughing. Other customers there were getting so disturbed and concerned about catching something (Covid maybe) they left! Can't say I blame them! The management there at SB and even the employees just turned a blind eye and didn't do anything or say anything? Even families who came in with their kids left immediately because of these shady homeless characters and the chances that their kids may catch something. There should be a city - wide ordinance that private businesses like Starbucks should not allow (HOMELESS) loitering in and outside businesses which can disrupt customer volume. There are shelters and churches that open their doors to the (HOMELESS). These are the places that can help provide and feed them at no cost. I come from a state with the most problematic homeless population ever. Therefore, I'm speaking my mind on this and my experiences.
My recommendation for customers is you're better off just going thru the drive-thru!!
