My hamburger was cold. It just wasn’t over the top great, at all. We had heard such good reviews, we drove 35 min, which is the closest one to us and… not worth it to us, in our opinion. Maybe if we’d dined in inside of getting our order to go, it would have been better, IDK.

This is the 3rd time ordering delivery, the 3rd time order was wrong! I asked for extra garlic butter and got zero, fries ice cold. Everytime I order, they mess it up. My orders are not complicated at all!

We've eaten here 3 times now and each has been great food and good service. It's one of the classic S&S diners with service at your table. We get the triple cheese burgers and shakes to go. Love the talo fries. It's the only meal of the day needed! Please go to grass fed beef!

Me & my bestfriend came here last week for lunch ! we sat & waited for our food to be given to us!! once they came out with our food we already had something missing so we had to order it AGAIN! anywho we started to eat our food my bestfriend asked me did my food taste a little off i was like no at 1st but my fries didn’t taste like fries are supposed to taste ! but i wasn’t thinking nothing of it , so my bestfriend told me she needed to go to the rest room i told her i’d come with her she started to throw up so after we left !!!! we had to go to the hospital & once we got there they had to end up giving her fluids and they finally told her that it was food poisoning!!!! DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL!

Me and my wanted stake n shake for our dinner on Nov 14th 2025 and we ordered the double garlic burgers just the burgers and we all ended up sick with food poisoning when I was in the drive thru all I can see the night staff playing around and the food looked like it was rushed I didn’t finish my food because the burger was light on the inside I live all the way in Spartanburg and if I had drove back up there it would have already been closed that whole night besides two hour me and my sister was throwing up and on the toilet my parents was more on the toilet and today Nov 15 2025 my stomach is still upset and I can’t keep nothing down all I’ve been drinking on is ginger ale me and my family went never eat at this place again and that’s why they say don’t trust people around your food because you never know what they are doing when you can’t see and then people are bringing there kids there and that place ain’t taking there time to cook it and rushing it especially at night

The food was so awesome that I forgot to take pictures😂 We devoured it! This review isn’t about the food though. It’s about our server Rosie!! Rosie is a super server!! It was busy and she handled it so effortlessly. Very nice too! Thank you Rosie!
We got 2 delicious meals including drinks for under $20 - amazing! Also had the sweetest waitress in the world who brought us a free milkshake to go! Didn’t catch her name but thank you for making our night!

have orders 3x and ALL 3 have been wrong over charged and missing items. I just ordered again (same manger and drive thru young guy)... and missed one whole meal.. i called and she said he :TRIED: to run after me but i pulled off nooo i waited there and he said u have a greta day.. and they over charged me but said w taxes added in and all this bull its was 18 and i wanted a small not a large.. needless to say they will replace only one SANDWHICH UHGF
* I did go back I was by there and no line- this time the girl in the drive thru was extra nice, and the food was hot and the new fries are so good- hopefully that the past of this place has not ruined the great potential it now has… keep up the great work.
