Walking in, you’re instantly hit with the comforting aroma of fresh-baked goodness. The display cases are packed with flaky, fruit-filled strudels, melt-in-your-mouth cookies, and beautifully crafted cakes that are perfect for any occasion—or just because! And if you’re looking for a hassle-free meal, their homemade take-home dishes bring a taste of comfort straight to your table. What makes this bakery truly special? It’s not just the amazing food—it’s the people. Still family-owned after 75+ years, they pour heart and tradition into everything they do. The friendly staff makes everyone feel like family, and that’s why this place has stood the test of time. Whether you’re a longtime fan or stopping by for the first time, this Greenville gem is worth every visit. Great food, great people, and a legacy of deliciousness—what’s not to love?

I was in town for a special event and was searching for a cake that was needed the next day. After searching on line I called this bakery. The lady I spoke with was friendly and very helpful. I ordered the white chocolate lemon raspberry layer cake and picked it up the following day.
This cake was absolutely delicious!!
I wish I lived in town so I could enjoy their other bakery items and eat in their Cafe. Thanks so much!

I’m a baker and I cook homemade everything myself so I’m a little picky about what I get . I liked the banana cream pie but honestly I make it better , there wasn’t much filling besides bananas in it , the cookies are big and good , the bread was good and I liked the cupcakes with buttercream frosting and I did try a bunch of different things and yes I would go there again ! They did forget to give me the 2 items I really wanted so I have to give them a bit lower point average ! They weren’t so busy to forget a couple things that I really wanted and I did spend over 60 bucks in there ? I didn’t eat there , I just went for the bakery !

The sweetest Lady helped me pick some goodies for a thank you gift. I love this bakery, best in town!
Asked them to make me an Atomic Cake for my birthday. Ask them to add fresh sliced bananas and strawberries between the layers. Not a hard thing to do. They barely put any in there but add a TON of preserves instead but charged me extra for the fruit. I will NOT buy anything from them again. They do what they want not want you ask for and agreed to pay them for. This is what it should look like - not what I picked up.

Strossner's has the best chocolate eclairs I've ever had. Their pound cakes are delicious. The breads and pretzels are so yummy.
Everything they make is nearly perfect.

I can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s absolutely impossible to get something bad here. If you are entertaining or just having a family get together they got what you need here. Their bread is great, the sweets are out of this world and their quiches and other cold goods cannot be beat. They have a restaurant attached too but I’ve never eaten there.

Strossner's Bakery - A Greenville Gem!
Strossner's is an absolute delight! Their bakery items are always fresh, made with high-quality ingredients, and taste absolutely delicious. From their pastries to their cakes, every bite is a testament to their dedication to excellence. My favorite cake is the Pink Lemonade and if you are in the mode the Chocolate Pound cake is absolutely incredible! YUM!!!!
One of my favorite things about Strossner's is the ease of their take-home meals--perfect for busy days when you want something homemade without the hassle. And if you're a sandwich lover, you must try their Reuben--it's outstanding! The flavors are perfectly balanced, with tender corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, and melty Swiss on perfectly grilled freshly baked bread.
Whether you're grabbing a sweet treat, a fresh loaf of bread, or a meal to-go, Strossner's never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I love the atmosphere, the vanilla cupcakes, the cookies are to die for! The whole waiting in line and then having someone help you behind the counter, I do not like. I like to see what the bakery has, especially because it was my first time there. I was ordering for a group so I had to ask them what they wanted after telling them what was available. I noticed another group was confused by that too and said “ I want to see what they have” but then have to get back in line. I didn’t like that process. But everything else is great
