I was in town for a quick business trip when I came across Sofrito! I read the reviews and they were spot on. Delicious food, excellent Margarita, and super friendly service.

I was there last night and ordered the fried shrimp taco with spicy coleslaw. The shrimp was bland but the slaw was good. The waiter was nice but instead of asking if we wanted our change back( we paid in cash) the waiter just took our money and we never saw them again. We were planning on tipping but just to assume the remainder of the money was his was Asinine. Also the women’s bathroom smelled terrible.

I Came In One Time With My Husband & It Has Become My Favorite Place To Eat . The Staff Is Always Friendly , And The Food Is Always Spot On Even Though I Get The Same 3 Things Every Time . Every Dollar Ive Spent At This Place Has Been Worth It . 10/10 Will Always Recommend This Place .

In our ongoing quest to find new restaurants to try in Greenville we found Sofrito. What a gem! The generous portions of Latin favorites were beautifully prepared and served by Rosary--the restaurants secret weapon and greatest ambassador. Don't miss this one.

Great food, great service but greedy management. They don’t have the drinks listed on the menu and are not willing to provide alternative drinks for the same price. Also charging $3 for card payments.

Our waiter was nice but evidently had too many tables to serve. Had to hunt him down a couple of times.
I think its a great choice when you want to experience Latin food, and not Mexican or TexMex.

The food is amazing! If you love authentic Latin (caribe food) this is the place to go hands down! Generous amount of food , and their mango mojito is one of the best. They even have a vegetarian section on the menu for those of you that do not eat meat. Their mixture of music makes your dinner experience a delightful one. I highly recommend giving it a try!

Recommended dishes: Ropa Vieja, Roasted Mojo Pork Mofongo
No flavor in the food i got a bowl with pork and the beans taste like they pull the beans from the can and the chimi burger bad. Also i got chicharon and it was burn
For lunch, ordered the traditional mofongo with roasted mojo pork. The mofongo itself was really flavorful and the portion size was good, but the pork underneath felt a bit overcooked and bland. Definitely on the pricier side, as for the meal pictured, the bill came out to be $23 after tax and gratuity, which is not good value. Service was also really slow, which may just be a lunch thing for them, but it took more than 45 minutes to receive our food in a pretty empty restaurant at the time.
4 stars, due to some downsides, but otherwise very good mofongos!
