TakoSushi Verdae

We've been to most of the Tako locations, but this one has hands down been the best experience. We stopped in for lunch while running some errands, and the staff was really accommodating and kind with our son. The manager was unbelievably nice, and, since things were a little slow, treated us to a taste test of some new menu items. Look out for the orange blossom and the Wagu beef hitting the menu soon! Thank you for such a great dining experience. Made our day!

great sushi, sake and service 😊. We really enjoyed the Augusta Roll, Greenville Roll, Japanese Bagel Roll, and Hawaiian roll. From the Sake flight, our fave was the Eiko Fuji 💖.

The food was amazing! The atmosphere is great, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The staff were super friendly, and even the manager came by to check if everything was okay, such a nice touch! Definitely a place I’d love to come back to.

Nice restaurant in a nice neighborhood. The sushi rolls I had were fresh and super delicious!! My boyfriend had shrimp and chicken stir fry with tempura vegetables and it was also really good. Service was fast and everyone was nice. A LITTLE pricy, but worth it.

I ordered the Greenville and Jesse Rolls. The sweet tea was a bomb 10/10 & the service was excellent. I quiet spot in the heart of a very quiet neighborhood with a park right across the street.... a gem. I will definitely return.

My husband and I tried Takosushi because he loves tacos and I love sushi. We both really enjoyed the food and atmosphere! We’ll definitely be back!

Used to go to the downtown Takosushi until it became over priced, so trying this one, I had some doubts. WELL! Matthew and his team were outstanding. Service and quality made them winners. Prices are well in line with the quality and portions. Will definitely be back, with friends in tow. You should do the same and support this place.

The firecracker shrimp and tuna tataki was great! Highly recommended. The firecracker shrimp was large and had a sweet and spicy sauce that match well with the tuna tataki ponzu sauce. We also tried the sake flight which was also good.

TakoSushi Verdae offers a solid mix of sushi and Asian-inspired appetizers in a relaxed, modern space. The service was smooth and the atmosphere was clean and casual, with a nice layout and natural light.

We ordered several rolls, all of which were fresh and well-prepared. The Crazy Roll (also called Kevin’s Roll) and the Unforgettable Roll stood out the most—balanced flavors, good texture, nothing overdone. The seaweed salad was fresh, and the fried wontons came out crisp with a solid dipping sauce.

The dessert was light and not overly sweet, which worked well after sushi.

Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area or don’t mind a short drive.
