Our server was excellent. I broke a glass and the team was quick to help clean it up and ensure no one qas hurt. Since it was later reservation the salad bar was slim pickings as was several of the meats. All cooked well just a few cuts keep coming back over again and again. I was not a fan of the up charges for lamb chops.
I have visited a few Texas de Brazil locations and the one in Greenville, SC is the best one yet. Being a previous customer, I have learned that this is not a restaurant to come to if you're unprepared to spend 2 - 2 1/2 hours. It should be relaxed and enjoyable with good customer service interchange with both the waiter/waitress and the servers that will come by your table multiple times during your dinner. The noise level is high, so you're have to just speak loudly in conversations. Our recent dinner was a little surprising in the large number of diners that came on a Sunday evening. This did slow things down somewhat, but it's good to see the popularity and support for this location. The food was very good with seasoned taste. It's much better than other locations. Service is usually very good to exceptional. With the increased customers coming in, this caused our waiter to be overworked and of course, this added some minutes to the dinner. However, the servers were coming around in waves and were attentive to requests if you asked. One critique is the size of the 2-top tables. They are too small - way too small. For a restaurant where you may have two settings of 3 glasses each, a pitcher, 2 plates and then the always added rolls, french fries, mashed potatoes and plantains, there is no room to enjoy actually eating if you're worried with possibly knocking over a glass or worse, a plate of food. The Greenville location needs to address this to have all 2-top tables 8 -12 inches larger than they currently are. I'm sure this location, like all restaurants, have bad days and good days and most times, it's on management to correct any bad experience. For the Greenville location, it has been our experience to see the manager on duty is always pleasant, professional and jumps in to work alongside the rest of the staff. This is good leadership and customer service that serves as an example for the staff and we appreciate seeing that. Great job all around for the team!
I enjoyed our Valentine's Day dinner here. It took a little while for the different meats started to come out, but once they did I loved every bit of them. The salad bar was awesome and I would come back. The only negative was the reservations weren't honored and many were in the long line that did not have reservations. Also it was not disclosed that the spring water was an up charge. All in all, nice atmosphere and special thanks to Samuel he was very kind and helpful.
We had a reservation at 7:15 we didn't sit down to eat until an hour later. Overall 10/10 !!
We had a 6:30 reservation. We showed up at 6:25 and waited in a line until 7:25 to be seated. Once seated it took another 10min for a server to arrive. The tables were so close together my wife couldn't even get out and we constantly had the servers behinds on our table while serving the tables next to us. Not sure if they always have that many tables or if they added more for Valentine's Day. Additionally with all the noise it was very hard for us to talk to each other or hear the servers do to everyone being so close together. We were never offered several of the meats that were on the menu, specifically lamb chops, fillet, sausage, spicy sirloin and Parmesan drumettes. I assume the experience would be better on a night other than Valentine's Day but I doubt we will bother to find out.
Arrived early for a reservation. Had to wait an hour to get seated. No apology, no explanation. Staff kept barking at frustrated patrons who were trying to understand what was happening to “get in line with everyone else.” Tables were crammed together, many of them filthy and left completely unattended during our entire meal. We had to ask for water and drinks. The meat offerings were sporadic at best and one was so tough it was inedible. More importantly the chicken was raw. The overall experience was an embarrassment to the brand. Many patrons left early, and those who stayed were extremely disappointed. This Greenville location grossly mismanaged what otherwise should be a special night for guests. They were clearly oversold and understaffed. We will NEVER return to this restaurant, and it will take a while to consider returning to any of them at all.
We had a reservation at 5:30 and had to wait 50 minutes for a table. It took 30 minutes for us to receive our drinks. The gentlemen who carve the meat were very polite and seemed to be the only ones working. I wish we could have tipped them instead of our wait staff.
They kicked me and my son out after we ate with a 200 dollar bill because we attempted to bring cookies to my wife. We were forced to wait outside near the restaurant in the cold after staff yelled that there is no outside food causing people to look at us as if we were doing something terrible! I calmly explained that they were just cookies and there was no sign stating that there was no outside food or drinks allowed. we will never return here again food was just ok. Not worth the price.

What's the point of making a reservation to then be told you have a 55 minute wait when you get there. Never have I experienced that in my entire life. As for food, it's good, but you are passing a premium for it so I wouldn't say it is good value. Atmosphere is pure fire to bring crammed to in. Service, aside from having to wait, not enough servers for the account of tables. Overall, very disappointing.

Food was great as usual, but the service was seriously lacking. We had food in our hand to bring in for our special needs 6 year old and we were told that we couldn’t have outside food…so I explained what it was for and was then told “it doesn’t matter. You can’t have outside food.” So make sure you don’t go here with anybody who has special dietary needs…our server wasn’t the friendliest either.

Texas de Brazil – Greenville delivers an outstanding dining experience. The food is consistently excellent, with a wide variety of perfectly seasoned meats cooked to perfection and carved right at your table. Every cut we tried was flavorful, tender, and served hot.
The salad bar is impressive and well stocked, offering fresh vegetables, cheeses, soups, and unique side dishes that easily stand on their own. The service was attentive, professional, and well paced — servers were friendly and made sure we never felt rushed.
Great atmosphere, great food, and great service. Whether it’s a special occasion or just a night out, Texas de Brazil – Greenville is always a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!
