When we have friends in town or are just looking for good food on date night we always think of The Cazbah. Brought some out of town friends for dinner last night and they loved it. We got the lobster cigars (a must), panko asparagus, daily bread, beef meatballs, and mini beef Wellington. All were delicious. And for dessert we had the purple sweet potato cheesecake. I could have eaten 5!
My wife and I have been to Cazbah several times and we really enjoy the food. We were excited last night to take my daughter, son and daughter-in-law to share Cazbah with them. The food was great as always, but the service was extremely poor. Four of our five main dishes arrived over a period of 20 minutes. One of the main dishes (asked for it to go) never arrived. Two of our sides dishes did not arrive with the meals. My daughter’s cocktail never arrived and after requesting it two separate times,we were asked which one she ordered. By that time, the meal was ending so we cancelled the cocktail. Part of the problem may have been that the waiter did not document anything we ordered. Very disappointing!
I finally was able to dine here for my birthday. The lobster cigars were amazing! My escargot was a little too salty but it was still good. I had the purple sweet potato cheesecake and it was delicious! Our server Grace, was a charm! We sat in the loft and it was nice, but you can hear all the noise from the crowd downstairs. I'll definitely be back.
Loved it. We had a group of 9 people. All gave it 5 stars. The southern style tapas was better than we expected, the service was impeccable, and the environment was perfect. We sat in a small room near the front but didn't feel disconnected from the rest of the restaurant. The highlights for me personally were the lobster cigars, the beef wellington, and the caprese salad. The sweet potato cheesecake was also incredible. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm Greenville.
Food are so good, but service it’s very deficient, the waiter are discourteous
The Cazbah is a hidden Gem in Greenville.
Always take out of town guests here
One of the best spots in town! It's my family's favorite place - we always bring a big group of people and they are always so accomidating! Grace always takes such good care of us.
Stopped in for drinks for my sister for her birthday and the staff was so rude. Our waitress Grace cussed out a member of our party. It took 1hour for our table to get one round of drinks and pay. This was absurd. So sad. Cazbah used to be cool.
Considered going until we saw the prices. NO WAY.
An honest review would include the prices being to much.
This place is awesome! Cool speakeasy atmosphere with great cocktails and food!

We went to Casbah for pre theater drinks and dinner. We've never been before and we're looking forward to it.
We made reservations and we were seated at 609 pm. Our drinks didn't arrive for 30 minutes.
Our first round of tapas arrived first and we were virtually done by the time drinks arrived. Our waitress was very apologetic about the wait for drinks, she was very sweet.
We ordered the tuna appetizer on toasted bread and the lobster cigars to start. Tuna was good, with avocado and a nice light seasoning. The lobster cigars were pieces of lobster with overwhelming cream cheese. This was accompanied by a dipping sauce, seaweed salad and cold sesame noodles. Disappointing.
The last dish we ordered was the beef Wellington bites with mashed potatoes. The pastry was undercooked and the filling was bland. Beef was good.
Mash was bland and needed salt.
Cocktails were good.
Cool spot for small plate and drinks. Great place to go before a show
Great food, great service! The escargot was fantastic!
A hidden gem you don’t want to miss!
Cazbah is one of our favorites! The tapas-style plates are small but packed with flavor, made with top-quality ingredients. Every dish we tried was delicious—the lobster rolls were to die for, and the lamb chops were outstanding. They also offer an excellent wine selection. The intimate, dimly lit setting makes it perfect for a cozy date night. Don’t overlook this spot—it’s a must-visit!
Amazing food and atmosphere. The lobster appetizer is a must!
