The Cazbah has been a go-to place for us over the past nine or so years, so when it came time to pick a birthday spot, it felt like a solid choice. My husband made a reservation, adding a note that it was my birthday, but when we arrived, the hostess seemed flustered. People were seated in chairs behind the door, and while there were open tables, people with reservations being seated was hit or miss. A family of five with a reservation was taken right in. We were relegated to chairs. At first, the hostess seemed to be taking us in and we followed her to a table that she said wasn't ours, but it ended up being, which was odd, after a fifteen or so minute wait. Food is always fantastic here, but even our server was not very attentive. Having had so many optimal visits and delicious food here, I was disappointed that they somewhat ruined my birthday date night. We'll definitely return for the food, but will not book special occasions here in the future.

This place was phenomenal! The service was amazing! Our waitress Kate - FABULOUS! The food was outstanding. We had the tuna fusion, lobster cigars , escargot, beef Wellington and the lollipop lamb chops- Everything was fresh and seasoned to perfection! We liked this place better than Larkin's and Ruth Chris- Will definitely be back!

We went to The Cazbah for a date night and was pleasantly surprised. As a young adult you want to treat yourself without taking a loan out a good dining experience and The Cazbah gave us exactly what we wanted. It was a dimly lit with individually lamp-lit tables that added to romantic atmosphere. We got 4 tapas dishes with a desert that was split between us and a cocktail each. It is a restaurant that isn't talked about enough in the Greenville circle and will become a regular in the date night rotation.

The food was delicious! However, the service was horrible. I really don’t have words on how bad it was. We sat down and nobody came to our table for over 10 minutes. A different server brought us our food which was great. Our waitress focused her attention on the group of guys in the private room. We waited over 20 minutes for her to swipe our cards. The worse part is I asked if another lady could check us out and she said she couldn’t because “she’s off the clock.” Then I asked someone else and she said sure. Handed it to the waitress “off the clock.” Who rolled her eyes, and then walked over and set our cards down by the register and walked away. I asked for a manager and there was no manager on duty. Personally I would not go here for the lack of professionalism and bad customer service.

Best tapas we have ever had! Ordered 4 dishes: beef Wellington, Pepper dip, fusion tuna, crab cakes - all of them were top notch! Wish the restroom was better and the restaurant would be more family/stroller friendly.

We were on a road trip and made an overnight stop in Greenville. While walking our dog in the charming town, we met a local who raved about Cazbah and said we must go there for dinner. It turned out to be a wonderful recommendation! We loved this small plates restaurant with its innovative and delicious food as well as its lovely wine list. Will definitely plan to go back when we are in Greenville again!

Loved everything we ordered. Tough to pick a favorite, but the beef Wellington was perfectly cooked. Definitely try the chocolate empanada to finish things off.

Good dinner. Asparagus was terrific. Meatballs and spinach dip were very nice. Shrimp and grits was odd with maple flavor and beef Wellington was pretty good. Good service and nice spot. Not disappointed but not blown away.

Disappointing Experience at The Casbah
My recent visit to The Casbah in downtown Greenville was incredibly frustrating. I understand that kitchen delays happen, and I try to be patient, but this was beyond pathetic. My party and I ordered several small plates, but after waiting an hour and a half, we had only received two of them. To make matters worse, we watched as multiple tables that arrived after us got their food before we did.
What was most baffling was that our simple appetizer—just bread—never even made it to our table. We eventually gave up and left, which turned out to be the best decision of the night. We went to another restaurant and were seated, ordered, and had all of our food within 15 minutes.
If you're planning on dining at The Casbah, be prepared for an incredibly long wait and a disappointing experience. You might want to bring a snack with you because you'll likely be ignored for a good portion of the night.

I've had dinner here and Sunday brunch recently. Delicious food. Very friendly and attentive staff. The lobster cigars are great. The lamb chops are wonderful. For brunch you definitely have to try to shrimp and grits. Definitely a place to come to over and over again!

Arrived less than 10 seconds after another couple. We were sat at the same time. Ordered a glass of wine and an app. The other couple got their drinks and food before I got a glass of wine. Sat there for another 13 minutes. Never got service. Other couple got 4 plates of food and 2 drinks each. We walked out. TERRIBLE SERIVCE!!! WILL NOT RETURN

I’ve always come to this restaurant, but this was my first time trying a margarita here, and I have to say they’re the best in all of Downtown. The new bartender Ben from Portland makes what I honestly think are some of the best margaritas I’ve ever had in the world.
