When we have friends in town or are just looking for good food on date night we always think of The Cazbah. Brought some out of town friends for dinner last night and they loved it. We got the lobster cigars (a must), panko asparagus, daily bread, beef meatballs, and mini beef Wellington. All were delicious. And for dessert we had the purple sweet potato cheesecake. I could have eaten 5!
My wife and I have been to Cazbah several times and we really enjoy the food. We were excited last night to take my daughter, son and daughter-in-law to share Cazbah with them. The food was great as always, but the service was extremely poor. Four of our five main dishes arrived over a period of 20 minutes. One of the main dishes (asked for it to go) never arrived. I finally was able to dine here for my birthday. The lobster cigars were amazing! My escargot was a little too salty but it was still good. I had the purple sweet potato cheesecake and it was delicious! Our server Grace, was a charm! We sat in the loft and it was nice, but you can hear all the noise from the crowd downstairs. I'll definitely be back.
