The Goat Bar & Grill GVL

This place is great as a small gameday bar, we like all the Clemson paraphernalia in the decor. One problem though, is lately, on college gameday , they are airing Soccer!!, on their main screen! Yet they appear to be selling themselves as a Clemson bar here in Clemson territory for the most part. This is disappointing. Only 2 people were watching soccer….plus inside temp was extremely warm on a 75 degree day.

I visited The Goat yesterday with my family, and we had such a great time! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and the staff were on point—friendly and quick to make sure we were taken care of. The place was spotless, which we appreciated, and with so many TVs around, I didn’t miss a second of the game. It was a fun experience for the whole family, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

Our new favorite place to catch a game on a Saturday afternoon. Wings are great. Good food, great atmosphere and service. Emily is the best bartender/server in Downtown Greenville.

Wings were great - good flavors, but needs lemon pepper option. Fries were seasoned well and fresh, but would expect more for the price. Would not recommend Cheese Steak or Chicago dog. Kitchen was slow. Server was kind, but over worked. Street parking was full so had to pay to park.

The online ordering was difficult to do. When our order came 30 minutes late it was not correct and when we called to question the error we were told thats what we ordered. Did not ask what may have been an issue. Will never order or try this restaurant again.

Stopped by The Goat today to watch Giants/Vikings and really loved the staff, the food and the atmosphere. Really great place to watch sports! I’ll be back! Go Giants!

Excellent food and service. We really liked the atmosphere. It’s a really well put together sports bar with top tier food. I’m looking forward to trying the other food on the menu. My partner and I enjoyed the firecracker shrimp and chicken empanadas.
