So far I've met the crew twice. Notice that I say I've met the crew and not that I've been able to partake in their offerings. The first time I met them, they were pleasant and friendly. They explained that they'd run out of gravy for the day but they had other foodstuffs available. Having grown up with poutine virtually in my backyard, that's what I had my heart set on. Fast forward several months and our schedules would have us meet again. I planned things out so I'd be able to accomplish what I needed to for the day and then have the poutine I'd been craving. Alas, once again, things wouldn't pan out as planned. This time as I approached, I was told they were closing up for the day. This is nearly an hour early. They have every right to open and close as they see fit but if they continue to run out of product or close at whim, they'll likely alienate their customers. Who wants to travel 30-45 minutes to these random locations only to be turned away repeatedly? I know I certainly don't and won't continue. They'll get one more attempt from me before I write them off completely and deem them a waste of time and effort for a majority of the upstate.

My Canadian born and bred husband, our 11yo and myself were in heaven tonight as we devoured the Poutine Spirit. He said it was just as delicious as he remembered from the “chip trucks” he would frequent back home over 18 years ago. The smoked chicken wrap was amazing as well! Great job Gravy Train!!

These guys came to Teknor Apex last week and were amazing. The food was fresh and delicious! Service was excellent! They are already on the schedule to come back! Can’t wait.
