Mostly premade snacks. But it is a great non alcoholic bar for people to congregate. Cool vibes with lots of board games and other entertainment.

Really cool place. Very unique, can't imagine there are many/any other places like it in the area. I'm not sure where else you could go at 1 AM and find the same mix of chill, friendly, and just a little buzzy with activity. Like a more-happening late-night coffee shop. Don't sell it short because of the lack of alcohol. It's a different experience, but you'll likely enjoy it more than you're expecting. Super friendly and helpful staff. Give it a shot when you want a change of pace!

Been here a few times, love everything except they have one guy behind the bar (I don’t know his name) that takes FOREVER to do anything. There is also a few people (seem to be regulars?) that talk SO LOUD. Which normally wouldn’t be a places problem except one guy is so loud with VERY inappropriate jokes and no one seems to want to tell him to hush? Like I don’t want to hear about what he does with his privates… other than that I love the place.

Been hanging out here for the past few months! They have nice drinks available and very friendly staff! They’ve done a really good job of creating a community driven atmosphere for people to come hangout and get to know each other. The community is super friendly, helpful, and inclusive. A great place to get a nonalcoholic cocktail, get some work done on your computer, and make some new friends!

UPDATE!! The staff here is phenomenal!! Everyone is every age and belief system, whatever can be comfortable and treated kindly by everyone there ❤️❤️ We need more places where everyone can just be...without all of the animosity. Very quiet and chill. Nice place to be in a relaxed environment without the noise and disruption from a bar scene

I learned of Kava Konnection years ago. Now that I’m married my husband and I drive all the way from Spartanburg to get our FAVORITE Kava Kolada! Every time we go we are always met with the most kindest staff and they make our drinks to perfection! Also the esthetic of the place is so cozy and inviting. We love it!

I have an amazing time each visit I have! I come here to study, but other times I come for a friendly chat with the people here as well.
It’s a very friendly atmosphere with the employees and customers they have here. I feel welcomed each time I come.
The drinks are also very delicious and they have a diverse many that many can enjoy.
It can get a little loud at times when it’s busy, but it’s a small space and people are generally helpful in fitting you in.

I’ve visited this bar periodically ever since it opened. For the first year or so it was a cool spot. It has since become a wasteland for growth or positivity. This place is run and staffed by extremely nasty people who will literally ask you to leave if you don’t match their expectations for what someone is supposed to buy, wear, say, or do. The staff watch everyone in the shop and keep track of what they’re buying and doing. If you’re not buying a drink every hour they ask you to leave. If you’re smoking AND they don’t like how you look or act, they ask you to leave (they allow some people to smoke, including themselves) They all ride motorcycles, all stick together in one group, and they all act like they are better than everyone. Being in this place makes my skin crawl, literally (do your research. don’t drink their drinks they are not healthy for you or your liver).

I stopped by this kava bar hoping to find a relaxed, welcoming space, but it felt like I was stepping into a private club for regulars only. The atmosphere was overwhelmingly cliquey, with the regulars forming tight-knit groups that clearly weren’t interested in anyone new. I felt like an outsider from the moment I walked in, and the staff did little to change that impression—they seemed more invested in chatting with their regulars than offering genuine hospitality and more annoyed if anything. Just very rude.

To make matters worse, their advertising is over-sexualized for a kava bar, which adds an uncomfortable edge to the place. It doesn’t match the laid-back vibe I expect from a kava lounge and only made the atmosphere feel even more exclusive and uninviting.
