The Lazy Goat is always a wonderful dining experience. The view of the River out the windows is glorious. The restaurant ambiance is nice and comfortable, and the service is top notch. We started with a delicious Brussels sprouts appetizer, and a bread board. I had the Mediterranean Prawns entree while my wife had Lamb Pasta Tagliatelle. Both were marvelous. Then we finished with Tiramisu. One of our favorite places in Greenville!
I loved this restaurant. We sat on the patio looking out over the river, with the side waterfall behind us. The service was great, it was a little nippy so they immediately lit the heater and our food was scrumptious. We were having lunch. I had the 3 cheese pide that was delicious and would make a great appetizer too. My friend had the gnocchi with feta & spinach and the sauce was wonderful. Definitely will be back and will recommend to others.
The newly renovated space is great and with the view of the river it is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy a fantastic meal. The new menu and wine list (Thursday night is half price wine) were exceptional.
Really enjoyed celebrating our anniversary at The Lazy Goat. The staff, especially Dominique, was so kind and made the evening special. The Truffle Frites and Beet and Goat Cheese salad was wonderful, and we both enjoyed the gnocchi entree. Loved the location with a view of the Reidy River and the walkway of Falls Park. All around great experience!
We enjoyed our evening at The Lazy Goat. Our server, David, made great suggestions for our meal. I highly recommend the branzino. The goat cheese cheesecake was a great end to our meal. The restaurant's location on the Reedy River Falls Loop makes for a pleasant evening walk after dinner.
This is our new favorite restaurant, even better than Zaytinya in DC! This chef has a brilliant menu and executes it to perfection! Highly recommend! We will be traveling back just to eat here!
Our server, Geronimo, was kind and very knowledgeable about the menu and gave fantastic recommendations. We had some warm and cold plates and then an entree to share. Lovely!
This restaurant was mind blowing good. My fiancé and I ate here to celebrate 4 years of being together about a month late from having a wild toddler we finally were able to celebrate. While I diligently looked for the place to celebrate our love without her knowing, I found The Lazy Goat, called and committed to a reservation. Upon arrival, we were met by professional and kind staff who treat you like gold and show you to your table while also noting important things around the restaurant while they see you to your seats. We chose to sit outside and were met by an amazing waiter “Geronimo” ... what a great name but man can I say, what an even better waiter! The guy was awesome, checked on us many times and made suggestions that just LANDED on the taste buds. My fiancé and I left with happy bellies and we definitely have to recommend the “Fried Goat Cheese.” It was absolutely AMAZING; but so were the entrees! After getting checked in several times by Geronimo and our To-Go boxes loaded, he also went out of his way to bring us an Anniversary card signed by all staff in the restaurant and they also brought us a special dessert and champagne! What an experience and the outside seating area is just beautiful, including the inside! It feels 5 STAR!. 10/10 would eat here again and 10/10 would recommend! Thanks again Lazy Goat! We will be back!
Fabulous evening! They were so kind to accommodate us after we had major traffic delays and were late for our reservations. Food suggestions were perfect- will definitely be back!!
Our first visit! The OpenTable Reservation process is seamless. Was catching a Peace Center show so we wanted to be close to the venue. We decided on sharing five different offerings & were very pleased with the taste & presentation of every plate. And service was top-notch. The patio dining would be my next visit choice overlooking Falls Park along with dessert! Well-Done Lazy Goat.

We had a fabulous time. The food was great, but the evening was advanced to a completely different level by our experience with the cocktails and wine Scotland the sommelier helped us pick out a delicious bottle of wine from their incredible wine cellar. I have always enjoyed this restaurant, but now it's going to be on my list of regular spots to visit.
We have been frequent diners at Lazy Goat for years, ranking it as our favorite Greenville restaurant and recommending it to friends. However, the new menu offered after the recent reopening was disappointing. Laden with numerous cold and hot starters, it had few entrees. The entrees we ordered were very spicy (Chicken Tangine and the Prawn plates). Full 750ml wines started around $50 and up with a wide selection. The service was excellent as usual. It seems that the Table 301 group has now positioned Lazy Goat as a casual but pricey restaurant aiming at a cocktail crowd. We lament the change but hope that adjustments will be made.
We enjoyed a lovely table on the patio overlooking the Reedy River on a beautiful fall evening. Our food was outstanding- souvlaki, goat cheese balls, spicy hummus, spicy prawns, duck duck goat flatbread, pasta, goat cheese cheesecake and fried donuts- all Mediterranean style and seasoned perfectly. We shared all of the dishes and everyone was pleased. Service was on point. Going back soon!!!!
This was our first time visiting the Lazy Goat. We were so lucky to be able to sit outside. The atmosphere was beautiful. We had to wait a little bit for a server, but Michael came over and made us feel so welcome! We had the best dinner and tried a lot of dishes. We loved them all and had the most amazing time. Thank you Michael for making our first experience at the Lazy Goat great. We will definitely be back!
The Lazy Goat experience was beyond my expectations. Started with the Whipped Feta and it was very enjoyable. We wanted a glass of wine with lunch and the wine connoisseur helped us choose this best one for our meal selections. Definitely recommend the Loukomades for dessert.
