On busy nights, getting a table can be a challenge. Outside of that it is a great place to the manager was seen helping out, the bartender is effervescent and her drinks are on point. Every time I go the food is amazing. The soup flight is by far my favorite so you can try everything.
As a Louisiana native, I tend to judge Cajun restaurants harshly. The lost Cajun, did not let me down!
Our server, Sasha, was southern sunshine. She was super friendly and exemplified the southern charm you get in NOLA.
The tea was diabetes inducing, just the way I like it.
The decor and feel of the restaurant hits the NOLA vibe with out feeling tacky or over done. I no longer drink alcohol, but was pleased to see frozen daiquiris and Abita Beer at the bar.
We will be coming back for more, for sure. That shrimp po' boy with zydeco sauce, the cajun fries, and those hush puppies really hit the spot!

Well priced, proportioned and prepared meals!!! I wish they had more combination plates. I always have to purchase two meals.
We sat at the bar and the bartender was very friendly. The food was delicious but we didn’t receive our appetizer until we were halfway done with our meal. Which we weren’t upset about it because the fried gator bites were worth the wait. The bartender apologized and took $5 off our ticket. Which was a nice surprise! Wonderful costumer service! We will be back!

This place has some great cajun food. I was in New Orleans a year or so back and what I ate there was lacking some real "Cajun" flavor. The Lost Cajun has the proper level of flavors / spice I would expect from Cajun fare. I mixed a bowl of their red beans and rice with their jambalaya, it was a superior combo. Can't wait to try again when in town.

sorry, seafood gumbo was bad, three popcorn shrimp was all that was in it, overcooked white rice, not served hot, portion was small as well. Not worth mentioning the other meal. Poor Cajun flavor.
Incredible cajun food, it was like being back home. Try the jambalaya or seafood gumbo, but I almost always get the po'boy the bread is too good.

The food was good, service great, prices good. The whole place sure needs cleaned/dusted,,but other that really good. We both got catfish and shrimp. Regular fries and sweet potato fries were both good. Neither of us could eat the coleslaw. The sample board they bring is a great idea!
