The Vista Restaurant & Bar

The atmosphere was really nice. Pretty chill vibes. The food was good. I had a bone in my chicken pot pie. We had to wait a while for the corn bread (which we had comped thank you). Also the chicken pot pies took a while ( so it was fresher) but the food was hot and tasty. The chicken was antibiotic free which was nice they knew and had as one of our party couldn't have that in their chicken so they got to eat also the pot pie. We will definitely come again. The drinks were also good and interesting. Thanks for a good time.

We had a large party and everything was wonderful! Food was delicious and the swrvice was beyond excellent! Thank you so much for the wonderful food and attention, and overall experience!

We liked everything since we walked in! Great ambiance, friendly staff, tasty food, yummy drinks, nice atmosphere, amazing time! The host and manager were kindly welcoming us, our waitress Jennifer was so nice explaining and suggesting the menu, bartender made our drinks very enjoyable and refreshing, chef made delicious food with love! Everything was perfectly amazing! The most impressive for me was, that they split and separated the meal, we ordered to share and presented nicely to the table in two separate plates. Most of the restaurants I’ve been in the US don’t do it, some time they at least ask if we need additional plates to share or don’t even suggest that. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip nearby))) thank you all ❤️

We decided to once again celebrate our anniversary at The Vista and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent and Alexis took wonderful care of us (as usual). Great restaurant for any occasion.

Not as good as our first visit. Highlight was the Calamari , cornbread and staff. Disappointment was the bland and chewy rotisserie chicken. We will be back to give The Vista another chance and try other menu items.

Awesome! The service was great. Our server was lovely, the manager visited our table several times, and the chef even came out to greet us. We were there pretty late in the evening, so there were not many people there. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beautiful ambience with a high-end feel. We will definitely be back! 

Awesome and exceeded expectations! Our server, Jennifer, made the difference--engaging, personable, knowledgeable and went out of her way to ensure our requests were met--and when several items were not available, she ensured we were satisfied, especially with dessert items that were just out of this world and the general manager came to apologize and was very gracious!! We were also visited by the owner, Rick Erwin, who greeted us along with other tables--a rarity. The evening was totally unique in so many ways--thank you and we will be back from North Carolina.

My son ordered the she crab soup. It was pure sherry and no crab. My salad with tuna came and the sherry vinaigrette was straight vinegar. I asked for a different dressing and it too was all vinegar no other flavor. Liam came and point blank asked us how our food was and as foodies, we told him. He seemed appreciative of our honesty and offered to comp the salad. We were then greeted by Rick Erwin. We had wanted to eat here as my son attends Clemson and we have wanted to eat at Rick Erwin's but haven't made reservations in advance enough. So I thought this would be a good choice. The bill came and only the $7 soup was removed and not the $22 salad. Guess honesty really doesn't mean much when the owner is in the restaurant.

We hadn't been here in a while and decided to take my 84yr old mother in law with us. We were enthusiastically greeted at the door and led to a nice booth. The Hostess could not have been any nicer to my mother in law. Waitress, Emily, was fantastic, gave us some tips, kept our water replenished and was very personable. Appetizer was fried calamari, which we all ate with nothing, but crumbs left. Abundant sauce came with it which was flavorful. MIL had sliders and ate every bite. My partner had shrimp and grits and said it was very good as usual, not just grits floating in butter and cream. Mine was the Camperdown Club - not too greasy but stacked with ham, chicken, bacon lettuce and tomato - I could not finish both halves and took it home. Great experience as expected.

Very personable staff from manager Liam. to the serving staff. Service was consistent. Both diners felt their food was excellent. Price was good for serving and atmosphere was very positive.

As with all of the Rick Erwin restaurants, the quality is always there. The menu is a bit more downscaled from the steakhouses, but still very good quality. This location strikes me as a neighborhood gem, especially with the parking in the rear. The adult beverage selection is also the quality one expects from a Rick Erwin location. This is a regular stop for me.

We hosted a surprise dinner for our daughter after her engagement at The Vista and everyone was so kind and attentive. The Manager and owner even stopped by to congratulate her and her fiancé and thanked us for choosing The Vista for her celebration. The food was delicious as well. We can't wait to go back!

The Vista is my favorite restaurant in Greenville! We always receive a warm welcome, excellent food, and attentive, friendly service. I'm so glad that the Vista is nearby and eat there several times a month!

Kitchen slow yet place not full.
Noisy
Cornbread close to cake, not so good.
Ran out of crab! Why? Is is a key dish.
