Man we wanted to love this place so bad! The atmosphere and service were great but the food was so mediocre. I got the filet medallions and my husband got the meatloaf and we had the cornbread for an appetizer. Not one item was good. It actually tased like cruise ship food. If you know you know. Especially for the price point.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I’d be handing out a whole galaxy. Especially for the service! We hosted a small company happy hour, and the Vista team rolled out the red carpet to make sure we were taken care of.

Big shoutout to Liam for stellar communication and helping us iron out details ahead of time. Huge thanks to Anderson and Leigha for keeping our group happy and hydrated (no empty glasses on your watch!). And to Chef Dez—wow. The food was like a first-class ticket straight to Flavor Town.

Our team is still talking about how awesome the event was, and it’s all thanks to the hardworking, all-star crew at The Vista.

I really wanted to like this restaurant but I couldn’t make myself. We went for restaurant week and I was disappointed in all aspects unfortunately. The hostess seemed annoyed by our presence, the waitress kept taking our almost full dishes without hesitation, and we felt rushed out the door. We didn’t finish half of our food because it wasn’t appetizing at all (filet, chicken, Brussel Sprouts, spinach, she crab soup, key lime pie - restaurant week menu). There was no wow factor, and coupled with the service, I was even further disappointed. There is potential for the space and being a Rick Erwin’s restaurant, I expected more.

Service was great, as was the food. The owner actually came out and asked if I enjoyed my meal and how my experience was. I had to tell him the truth, I was very happy I had found his place. If I was local, I’d be back. Pretty cool part of town, too. GPS took me along side streets through nice neighborhoods.

Nice little gem in the neighborhood. We had dinner here and everything about it was right. The food, the service was incredible. The manager, Liam?, came by and personally checked on us. 10/10. Would recommend.

Our experience at The Vista in Greenville exceeded expectations. The food and the service was excellent (thank you Samantha M). We were welcomed by many staff members, and they were all very accommodating. We were able to bring our feathered friend, Guacamole, with us! We would certainly return.

Recently meeting friends to celebrate a birthday at The Vista. It was a very pleasant dining experience. This was not our first visit so I can without hesitation say that it's a keeper.

Our server for the evening was Alexis and she was wonderful in every aspect.

The food was so flavorful and presented with an inviting manner.

The interior is set up that your space feels personal.

We had a grand time.

Wow, what a truly underwhelming experience. I ordered the Braised Beef Short Rib. I wish I took a picture so you could see what it looked like-slop plopped down onto my plate. Worse, it was almost all fat. And I’m aware that this cut of meat tends to be fatty. But it was the texture and taste of a chuck roast that I make at home and I had literally 3 small, very small bites of meat. And they charged us $40 for this.
The potatoes au gratin-bland. Tasted like nothing.
My grandmother’s meal, they forgot to bring her spinach and when she asked for it, they brought out some spinach that had been quickly boiled with no seasoning. And it’s supposed to be lovely garlic sautéed spinach according to the menu.
My grandfather loves a good French dip but the one he got from here- He said it was just alright, like something we could pick up at a fast-food joint.
So for $123, not one person at the table had a stunning meal that we expected from a respectable dining establishment.
The only thing that was enjoyable was the crab cakes, which my grandmother shared with me since I only had the 3 tiny bites of meat and was famished still.
The atmosphere is nice, but I don’t care if the food tastes as disappointing as it did yesterday.
I will not be returning and I suggest if you wanna drop $120 on your meal with your family that you cherish and want to share a good meal with, go somewhere else.

This was our first time at The Vista and it did not disappoint. We had Saxon W as our server and he was absolutely perfect. The food, the service, 10/10. I can’t wait to go back.

Excellent dining experience! Very good ambiance (much nicer than the photos), plenty of menu options and Darby provided us with very attentive service and good recommendations. Adequate wine list and moderate prices imho. This was our first visit but we already have plans to return.

We had our first meal here, and it was awesome. We came in close to close 😅 on a Friday night and had excellent food and service. Alexis was our server; she was so friendly and helpful with her recommendations. We will be back!

Just had an amazing dinner here! We were celebrating our 1 year anniversary and decided to come since we’ve always passed by it and it did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in to us leaving we felt welcomed. Me and my girlfriend had the corn beef special and the chicken gnocchi with Brussel sprouts and corn on the cob and every single thing was delicious. Our server was very nice and provided us with great service and they even gave us a free dessert that was decorated and said “Happy Anniversary” which was above and beyond any standards we’ve seen around town. Even the owner Rick came by and said hey and thanked us for coming to celebrate. All in all it was an amazing experience and we will definitely be back. Thank Y’all for the card as well!!
